Cheaper fake flexishields for the Hero?

Hello,

I've recently been looking for a case for my Hero, I found

FlexiShield Skin For The HTC Hero - Black

The flexishield, but this seems quite expencive, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience/opinions on the ones floating around on eBay:
NEW FLEXISHIELD GEL SKIN CASE COVER POUCH FOR HTC HERO on eBay (end time 19-Oct-09 23:19:47 BST)

Could these be the real thing or fakes that aren't as good?
 
I have the first one if those you listed on ebay...it fits perfectly and looks great, you wouldn't know it wasn't an official cover..coupled with a HTC screen protector (dont buy cheap ones of these cos they are awfull compared to the HTC ones) it protects your investment without losing its sleek looks
 
I got mine from amazon going to get another so I have a choice of colours to choose from depending on my mood. They fit really well, do the job and are great value.

Hi there,

I bought a flexishield gel case from ebay...cost me about 4 Quid I think. Let me assure you that they are fantastic. They're custom moulded to fit the Hero perfectly. All holes are cut in JUST the right places, and nothing is restricted at all.

No, I'm not a salesman from eBay...I'm just a user who purchased this great bit of kit! :D
 
With regards the "Flexishield" covers sold by sak.gaming via ebay, I've asked the question if they are genuine and got the following reply -

"Our case is generic aftermarket product, not genuine."

Whatever that means!?! :D

I already ordered one, I'll let you all know if its any good. The commenter above said he had one and it was good. I'd rather pay less for more or less the same item.
 
Hello everyone,

I'm waiting for my new HTC Hero to arrive tomorrow and thinking about protection.
Does anyone have experience using InvisibleSHIELD Full Body Protector for HTC Hero?
 
I would prefer a rubber case, to protect it incase you drop it, the rubber casing will take most of the pressure and cushion the fall.

I had the first version of the Samsung Instinct...didn't care for the phone, but I did by the invisibleSHIELD for it. Freaking loved it!!!! It adds some grip to the phone's surface, and does a fabulous job of protecting it. I'm getting my Hero in 2 days, and already made the purchase!!! I would recommend it!

Today both invisibleSHIELD and HTC Hero will arrive while I'll be at work :(.
BUT THEN... ! :rolleyes:
