I tried an App called "CPU Guage " and it gave CPU speeds for each core separately.
The readings changed about every 5 seconds.
Core1: 1512 mhz Core2: 0 mhz
Then core 2 would go to some other number like 918 mhz and I heavily taxed the CPU by playing Youtube while online while on a call on speakerphone
to get both cores to 1512 although the numbers on second core still went below 1512 mhz.
Even doing all this on the charger temp never went above 104 degrees.
So does this mean I have the factory overclocked 1.5 Gig CPU ?
This little phone never broke a sweat with all that going on - I could hear the Youtube Video and the call through the speakerphone simultaneously.
With those CPU cores changing speeds so quickly-makes me think that underclocking to 900 mhz as some have done might not increase battery life much.....?
Of course I'm definitely an amateur with this stuff-so just a guess-I like mine at 1.5 Ghz!
I'd love to see a 4 inch or 4.3 inch higher res screen version of this phone IF it had a stock 2400 mah battery, better camera and was about $300 to $350.
And maybe Metro will get the LG Optimus G after the huge splash from the Samsung S3.
