It turns out that the rev. info on the Software Info page and the Software Status page are not the same.

In Software status I have
ADR6350_6.01.605.05-5.10.605.9
and in Software Info I have
6.01.605.05-5710RD :confused:

FWIW, the Android rev is 2.3.4, and HTC Sense is 2.1
 
So you are telling me that they couldn't include this with the ICS update? Maybe ICS is farther away than we realize? :hmmmm2:

Anyway I already pre-ordered the SGIII. ;)

IMHO, ICS is probably not in the DINC2's future.

Think about it - DINC2 is in End Of Life. That was confirmed in the VZW store visit I cited above. I'm somewhat surprised that even this update showed up, although it may have been in the pipeline far enough back to "leak" through. Corporate decisions are made by committees and we all know what that can mean... :rolleyes: Somewhere the go-ahead for this update was given and nobody subsequently said "kill it off - it's a waste of money on an already nearly dead product". Or maybe VZW just is nice and did it anyway. Yeah, and pigs pilot regular flights to Saudi Arabia, too... :p
