I have tons of Canadian quarters..
can barely tell the difference..so they flow freely back and forth(I'm very close to Canada) yet...somehow...vending machines and video games know the difference and won't accept them:confused::cool:
 
Wow, when did they watermark all our money with specimen. I guess what's in my wallet is junk. Let me get a lighter.:p
 
I learned something the other day.

I was trying to make a photo copy of cash. it kept failing.
I tried to scan other documents... it worked fine.

turns out.. my printer/scanner will NOT take the image of cash. even a photocopy of cash.

Ours at work has a warning label on it that it will disable itself if you try. It also lists stocks, bonds, drivers licences, passports, immigration papers, and a few others that it will not copy.
 
I stopped using a scanner long time ago. Found out taking a picture with my phone is easier and faster.
 
Why bother copying money? The paper and ink is worth more than the currency. ;) I hear that Greece has started to issue their bills on convenient perforated rolls. :eek:
