Since I spent a lot of time reading the threads, I figured the 'suggestion box' would be a good thread to use. I picked this sub-thread since most of the staff is here. I think having a 'rumor central' thread would be a nice additional thread. It would be a single location for all rumors. For example: where do I currently find discussions about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F phone? I can't post a link yet, but this may work - see phandroid.com/2013/12/31/samsung-galaxy-s5-with-metal-body-goes-into-production-galaxy-f-to-be-new-ultra-premium-line-rumors/ . Also, the staff could move and combine duplicate rumor posts into the central rumor section. My example appearing in all the Samsung threads (ie 'Where can I find information on the Galaxy F'). The rumors would also apply to lemon meringue pie, the HTC phones, and so forth as well as Samsung. What do people think about this idea?
 
Admin monitors the Suggestion Box and Feedback forum for that sort of thing, such as for new device forum requests. I think I'm the only one goofing off here and that's not a regular thing.

The original intent of this thread was to announce that we have private subforums set up beyond the Suggestion Box for confidential chats with staff or just mods and admin.

It's since turned into a playground. :)

If you think we need a new forum for that Samsung, I'll try to make a note of it, but I won't guarantee remembering it outside the venue set up for it, sorry.

Others may have more opinions on your other points.
 
I think a rumor thread, would be nice, just one subforum where we could talk about phones that aren't out yet or just rumored android devices. Ara would be an example.

:confused: I am sorry EarlyMon. I thought I found this thread as a sticky under Android Forums > Community Info & Talk > Suggestion Box and Feedback - when I first found it. Looking now, I see there are no stickies at the top.

If a staff member would move the original post to the Suggestion Box I would appreciate it. Once again, I apologize for using the wrong thread.

There are so many places with Forums, mailing lists, and so on that it is easy to get confused and to start imagining things.

If I sounded harsh, it wasn't my intention - I have a wicked cold, feel lousy, and probably don't sound like I mean to, so it's me that owes the apology ok.

I hate to mention this, but the SGS 5 is already out there under phones! Rats! There is no "pulling leg" icon. :D
 
I am telling you his glasses are CURSED... they got some kind of hypnotizing power or something!
