Would that coconut happen to be carried here by a swallow with an unknown airspeed velocity?
It used to drive me crazy!! The professor could make just about anything with bamboo and coconuts a lie detector..telescope etc...yet he couldn't fix a 2 foot hole in a boat or make a raft...
Look, if you stranded me on that island with that exact cast, me as The Professor - I wouldn't fix the freaking boat either.
Think about it.

May he rest in peace!They just mentioned it on WABC news at 4PM. They also mentioned that Hollywood may make a movie remake of Gilligan's Island. Who would play the Professor, Mary Ann and Ginger? They don't make shows like that anymore!
I haven't found any reruns on cable either. However, I did pick up a dvd on special sale at a price of US $9.99 for "The Beverly Hillbillys" series though.
