Yeah, already set up plus I have an old 'tick-tock' alarm clock buried in the blankets. It sounds like a mothers heartbeat. The house is ready but only one's coming home.
 
At that age let them cuddle up on your chest. Your heartbeat will be soothing to them. If you can take a toy or blanket home from where you rescue them with familiar scents it will also alleviate stress.
 
Yeah, the critter will absolutely have the run of the house. That's why ya get 'em right? The only place off limits is the room with my guitar and amp in it. If that got clawed it wouldn't be pretty. ;)

crazy morning...

lets talk about crazy things that happen to us...

last night.. 1am.. driving through NY to Rhode Island.
following the GPS.. I turn into a highway it tills me to take
10 secs after I turn driving down this hwy.. big letters on the ground
"no trucks .. low clearance."
the moving truck .. signs .. all over the place.. and on windshield..10ft 6inches
"are we in trouble?" to late to get out....
doing 60mph and towing her car.. tow dolly.
it is a box truck.. not a huge semi.. I am little worried.
should be fine.. other have to move.. and drive in area.
major roadway should be designed for normal traffic.
right????

dark.. 5 secs before we go under an overpass... we see it.
and then a sign says 9ft 7inches..
yell .. WTF.. we going to hit. I am so F-ed!
apply the break.. but not to much because..
there might be a car behind us.. dont want to jackknife
we are in the far left lane... the overpass is arch.. looks like brick/stone
crap!

we make it through!!!
OMG!!

my sis is scream as we go under...
we both are laughing our ass off.. as we come out the other side.

franticly looking around.. turn on the cabin light.. at the height signs again.
yes.. clearly 10ft 6inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now .. we are on the lookout for more over passes...
we stressing.. should we get off? stop?

it is 10ft 2 inches... taller than the first one..
we should be ok.. slow down.. to 30 mph..

we go through no problem... so stressed..
my back and neck muscles are all tensed up.
we are laughing our asses off.. and yelling at the bridge builders and truck maker.
one of these are wrong!!!! :P hahaha lol

speed back up to 60... still looking out..
3rd one .. we dont see till it is 5secs before..

I apply the breaks.. but too late

I swerve to the far right lane.. even on the shoulder
because it is the highest point of the arch...



we make it through!!!

we are laughing .. yelling
her tummy hurts... she is about to throw up.
she is seriously feeling sick...but laughing her ass off

finally the GPS says to exit 287.. and there it is
thank GOD that is over...

it is now 11 am the next day.. after a good night sleep..
I am drinking coffee at the fancy Hotel "41 North".
my sis is starting there.. manager over 2 restaurants there.
my neck muscles are F-ed up.. in pain.

I have to measure that box truck.. to confirm the height before I return it!
to cold here!!! bone freezing cold and wind!

Hi huh, how is Vegas? I'm not a gambler, so I would be bored stiff. I guess I could do show, but are they all Cirque de Soliel and that ilk, or are their quality theatrical plays ala Phantom or Les Mis as well. The latter I caould soak up, the former would get old quick.
 
Ha! I don't gamble either...and I hate circe de so lame:) pretty much any thesbian activity gives me the willy's:D I did go see an exhibit called" Bodies" today. It was real dead people all preserved and disected in different ways so you can see the workings of the human body....some of it kind of made me sick..
like the skinned body:eek: just.....a whole persons body...but just their skin.(shudder) like a body suit..eye holes nose..uchhh everything all layed out but in one piece...

besides that..I've just been shopping and eating..Its going to warm up so Ill be able to hang by the pool the next few days....hopefully:)

don't remind me! actually I don't have to be anywhere till tomorrow at 4:20;) kidding couldn't resist..4:30...I did most of my part all day yesterday...now other people have to do what they do...then I go back for any adjustments ...then they do more tweeking..making sure everything is perfect...then if all goes right...I'm free!!!:)
 
Jeez, that sounds like the time I was sent to Paris for eight days for the sole purpose of going to dinner with coworkers one evening.:rolleyes:
