I always thought it was one of those hair removal doohickeys advertised on late-night TV.

Although I have no idea why I'd want to kick one. :dontknow:

Now, if we were talking about Hoo-Ha's ....

That's Hee Haw it's cousin :D

Okay, so let me get this straight ... if we were to kick Roy Clark's cousin in the hoo-ha, it would actually be the hee-haw?

For the record, I have never kicked anyone's cousin in any place that starts with an "h" ... oh wait ... there was that incident in Hoboken.

Howdy!!! staffers n such:) Im just waiting for the end to come wishing I had strength to stand ..this is not what I had planned..it's out of my control..

Snow Day!!! yea!!!!:D
it was looking like a blizzard earlier..
now it's tapering off a bit...
just saw some cross country skiers skiing down my street:)

And remember not to eat Yellow Snow, no matter how much it looks like a Slushie

that just reminded me...my mom used to make this snow candy stuff...she would pour it in the snow to harden...we used to put our hand prints? name? in the snow and it would act as a mold..I thought it was so cool!! I should ask her for the recipe.

It was probably close to this:

1 cup real maple syrup
1/4 cup salted butter
Fresh snow, vanilla ice cream, or shaved ice

  1. Heat the syrup and butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring to avoid a boilover.
  2. The mixture is ready 6 to 7 minutes after it boils (220 to 234 degrees on a candy thermometer). It should stiffen when dripped onto a plate.
  3. Remove from heat and cool for 2 minutes before pouring over the snow, ice cream, or ice.

p.s. I suspect your "funk" will miraculously clear in about 4 days... ;)

I think you are right!!! on both accounts:)
I was thinking corn syrup:rolleyes: but now that you mentioned it...wait! Maple syrup like Mrs. Buttersworth...IS just corn syrup flavored ...unless you get the real stuff..which I like better anyhow..:) it's expensive though..especially the local stuff..
