Check this battery out-Might be the answer

After reading through these forums - hours and hours of input from you guys - you guys are great! I am in a prickly situation with the phone. Since I have decided I cannot root it because Metro WILL NOT let me insure it or warranty replace it, I am stuck leaving it with all the excess crap that I don't want or need and is killing my battery. (.....and I thought the Finesse was bad!)

I have tried the whole remove 4G from it, opting out of myExtras, not running a live wallpaper, I have the advanced task killer.

None of it seems to help. I literally woke up at 8am the other morning to the alarm on the phone. Shut off the alarm, Battery Solo Widget (thank you for that) said 100% when I unplugged it and hit kill all on the task manager. At 8:15 I was in the car, not having touched the phone since then, and Battery Solo now said 68%. WTF is up with that?

What other suggestions do you guys have for me to try and better this? I keep it plugged in all day via USB at work, car charger in the car. Friday I went to Catalina Island, however, and nothing could be done but to let it die on the island.

I have noticed that when it gets to 0% on the battery - the wall charger WILL NOT charge it. I have to plug it into the USB to let it charge up to at least 5%, then the wall charger will charge it again.

I cannot stand that it discharges while it's plugged in. Freakin' sucks.

Well first thing I will say is - eh root the phone, if you need to return you can unroot it, if it gets to the point where you can't unroot it then they are not going to figure it out till you swap it. As it stands I rooted my phone and had to have it replaced......I sweated they would charge me even though I unrooted it (although you could probably figure it out it had been if you knew what to look for). When I took it to the store we fiddled with a few minutes and told me to come back Tuesday to swap it (I was having a weird network problem where I could to the network in some places but not others, and I'm talking I could identify when and where the phone would pick up the network, and where it would drop it). In the intermittent time I rooted and did an even lesser job of un-rooting it went in, they didn't even look at it. I believe we just did a data wipe (or maybe I did that on my own, don't remember) and put the microSD in the new phone. This was a corp store to boot. Your decision but I wouldn't sweat it and let it stop you from using your phone the way you want.

That said the best solution for the battery is an extended battery. I'll recommend this one because I am very pleased with it (I've written a few positive reviews on a number of threads) and had good support from the seller (I made a wrong click on ebay and had to contact him to fix it which he did with no trouble). Anyway, in my opinion that is really the best and only fix for the battery life.

Mine? Tt takes me right to it, even on browsers that haven't been to ebay before. If you need to search for "samsung galaxy indulge extended battery" and look for the one from leechomlcx.
