choosing a launcher for volt

I've tried a few other launchers and it could be my patience that was the problem, but they seemed to never have customization that I needed, were just too busy/annoying or were too complicated for my simple needs.

Then I found Action Launcher 3. I love it.

It has a pullout app menu on the left which you can hide apps from and sort by how often they're used, alphabetically and probably a few other ways.

There is still an "Apps" button (if you so choose) that can also be customized like the pullout list, although separate from it. I use the pullout app menu for the most often used and have all the apps I need (see: hoarder) but rarely (see: never) use hidden while my "Apps" button has all of my apps alphabetically for when I can't find an app because I'm using one that I have hidden or I use it uncommonly and it's hidden from my eyes in my quick list, etc.

There's also a bar you can pullout from the other side which functions for me like a utility screen for widgets that I don't want so easily butt-pressed but need on hand like the flashlight, widgets to call/text to my girlfriend and my Pokémon fix.

There's also much deeper customization with swipes, taps, home button presses and probably much more (of which the only one I could ever remember was customized was a double tap of the home button to go to recent apps and a triple tap to clean my ram.

In short, it gives me my perfect blend of wanting things easy to get to but clearly segregated by how I use them while giving me the satisfaction of knowing I can get much deeper into the dark world of serious customization.

Uploaded is a screen shot of my "utility belt" because I feel like I describe things like a toddler. Also this is my first post here so I feel slightly awkward for some reason. I just felt like throwing that in there.

Though I've been satisfied with smart launcher for months now, your description of action launcher is enough to motivate my checking it out...so thanks!
