Class Action Suit for 2.0

If we can somehow cripple their Galaxy S sales by spreading the gospel of their pi$$ poor service then we might just be able to force their hand so they take us seriously.

I posted this on the samsungmobileusa youtube channel

"DO NOT BUY THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S or any other Samsung Android phone. They will not support it and leave you hanging when everybody else updates to the latest Android software. Samsung doesn't know shit about making a quality phone and their developers are semi-r3tard3d. Save your money and spend it on an HTC phone.

You have been warned."

Not to burst your bubble, but this video begins and ends with the Samsung copyrighted logo, implying that they are an official Samsung representative. There is no disclaimer stating otherwise. So, the inference is that it is Samsung authorized. As such, it makes Samsung somewhat culpable. You cannot use that logo without express permission or, you stand to face a lawsuit for copyright infringement or worse.

Therefore, it is well within our rights to approach Samsung on the basis of this publicly broadcast video and its contents.

EDIT:

Not bothering to argue. You've obviously never been involved with Corporate Law. Not going to waste my time.

Hehe...I posted a "modified" version of it.....

hmm

Google Android OS I can't seem to find any info on the Behold 2 getting Android any type of 2.x update. I know that the Moment by Samsung has already gotten 2.1, and their new phones will have 2.1 on them, so it sounds like it might happen. However, no official word. The best I can say is that it's rumored/partially official that pretty much every Android phone should get at least a version of 2.1, maybe with some features disabled like Live Wallpapers due to the phone's specs like RAM and processor speed.

Please don't. Because you are clueless and it would waste MY time. There are countless Class Action cases to the contrary of your position.

Message to all affected Behold2 owners: No one has to sit still and let corporations get away with riddling consumers with shoddy products while taking our money. There is recourse. And just because a corporation is large doesn't mean that it has the right to release faulty product and get away with it.

What gives them that power is our silence. What they *hope* that you do is to take your $230 dollar loss and shut up about it. Multiply that $230 by all of the people who purchased the phone. For them to ignore us and expect us to continue to purchase their products is arrogant! Newsflash: We have a right to demand products perform to the promises and advertisements set forth by ANY company.

Think about it. If people had no recourse against corporations, there would be no need for https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ (FTC Board of Consumer Protection); 7 On Your Side; Rip-Off Report.com; Consumer Review, Petitions

Moving right along...

Well they got my $230 But I'm getting $210 of it back and using it as a down payment on a My Touch 3G Slide. I still have my BH2 for now until the Phone comes out So I'll be here to look in on everyone.

Bravo for you, Ohgami! Glad you got some restitution!

Look, guys, enough of the petty arguing. I just want what I was told I would get. I am not a lawsuit person, but I will irritate the CRAP out of Samsung and T-Mobile every single day until I get what I deserve. Point blank. They promised it, they better deliver.

Did they make you renew your contract? This is what I am trying to do except not renew seeing as I just started my new contract 2 months ago.

There is no argument. It is a lie that we have no recourse because of Samsung being a corporation.

This fiasco has gone on long enough with us being pushed around by the manufacturer. They also have their cronies on this forum. And all have a right to speak their opinion about the product that we paid for.

I am curious about the arrangement too. And on another note, I thought that the 3G slide is coming in @ $179.99? His $210 would be more than a down payment, LOL

I noticed that too. However if you are able to get $210 then the slide would probably be about $190 without a plan. I am assuming that the Slide will be $179.99 with contract and around $400 without a plan.

Well I'm buying the new phone out right for $399 no No Extension. You can buy any phone at any time @ t-Mobile without Extending your contract...You just pay the Higher Price. I'm Sorta taking a loss but not having to put up with the Samsung Headaches...I should have listened to myself when I kept reminding my self of the Troubles with my BD player. Which After this Summer I will get rid of and be Samsung Free. That's how much I am hating Samsung right now.

Thank you, I'm gonna have to shoot for that same thing I'm guessing. Was this on the phone or at a T-Mobile store?

Well like I said You can go in and Buy any phone at Full price at any time. The MT3GS isn't out til the 2nd. I did go to a Store and talked to a Rep that had the Slide and that's when I made my Decision.

Okay. Thank you. My next step was to go to a store, I figured they would be more helpful than trying the same thing from a rep on the phone.

Well, here is my dilemma....I bought two of the phones...on the "financed" plan....so it is by the month for the phones AND there is no contract. So, I could drop my service with T-Mobile, but I would still have to pay for the two phones. What is the best recourse? Like I said, I have no problem with irritating the s**t out of Samsung every day until the two phones are paid for, but seriously....what would you guys do? And I could care less about their cronies on here. Every bad experience that I post on the Samsung Fan page it visible to over 15000 people, so, ..... hehehe

Don't get me wrong I didn't Trade in my phone I sold it outright to someone (Private Individual). The reps there don't mind selling a phone contract free...in fact they'll love you for it as I Believe they make more commission on it. There's 2 things I always tell people when shopping for mobile service: 1) Choose your Provider THEN the Phone not the other way around. 2) ALWAYS go to a Corporate store (Unless you are good friends at the "Authorized Retailer"). Being On GSM is so nice, Not being LOCKED into phones was a Savior for me until Android Hit the Scene. I got my Wife a G1 and was Jealous.

I have one more upgrade I COULD use (My Wife's Technically) but I want to save that for when her G1 Craps out which it most likely will (She's hard on phones surprised it lasted the 1.5 years it has now LOL).

haha...I hear ya bud! Thing is I picked my service first due to everything I read online about T-Mobile and the phone was the icing on the cake! I will spend every waking moment letting T-Mobile and Samsung know what a shi**y move it was. I bought a Samsung 52" LCD and BluRay last year and three phones within the past 3 months because I love the look of Samsung's products...but if they don't make this right....they lost a LOYAL customer!

I used my GF's mom's (she is on our plan) upgrade to get the BH2 and my upgrade comes in August but I think she wants to cancel her line soon so I will have to take her line and cancel mine I am trying to talk her into staying on so I can have my upgrade.

Did anyone think of adding a line and using that rebate?
$5 for 24 months is $120........... Walmart will have the MT3GS for $130 with a new line so that is only 250+tax plus you get a "free" line.

They say you need the data plan but if you never put the new line sim in the phone your ok. I had a buddy do it when he went from a G1 to a MT3G........ then he bought a prepaid tmobile phone and put the added line sim in it and gave it to his daughter.

The only sad part is. Samsung makes @70% of AMOLED Screens for mobile Devices. LG makes their own and I believe there's a couple of Small players To Include Kodak (Not a small company but they are focused differently). So there's a 99% chance that any Device not made by LG or Samsung that has an OLED screen will have the screen by Samsung. I know Samsung makes the OLEDs for HTC.
To be honest I was excited when the phone was announced but was a little apprehensive remembering my troubles with my Samsung BD Player. I looked through the i7500 Galaxy Forums and I was even more worried but I thought: "hey this is T-Mobile's phone as much as it's Samsung's I should be ok." Fast Forward to now and I'm dumping the phone after 6.5 months. I REALLY wanted this phone to succeed but it seemed that with all the custom Roms and such I was just putting a band-aid on a Gaping Chest wound and we were being hung out to dry.

But if the samsung screen craps out HTC will stand behind it.

Just got this from Twitter:

Not gonna say this is 100% positive as BH_MAN said it could just be their "Courtesy Update" (i.e. here's 1.6 now go buy a Galaxy S)

Its a bot deflector response.

If you mention "behold 2" in any tweet to them you will get that.

Basically they are telling you "talk to the hand we do not care."
