Root Classic V0.9/Anthrax - do I need Set CPU?

I am using Tommy Tomatoe's Classic v0.9 with the anthrax kernel. The classic rom has an overclocking system tweak. Should I use Tommy's overclocking system tweak and not use Set CPU (just freeze set cpu using Titanium)?

If I should use Tommy's overclock tweak and not Set CPU, I guess I don't need any profiles, like screen off with the classic rom.

you don't need setcpu. and I'm pretty sure anthrax has screen off profiles built in. however the newest update for setcpu has added app specific profiles, if that is something that interests you


FYI. classic .9 is based on the latest ota, which must have changed something with the front facing camera, because the image shows up upside down. I switched to underworld kernel and it's very very good and it fixes the camera

That's why I prefer Roms based on 4.54 until we get source for the Android 2.3.5 kernels.

I would use setcpu anyway.

You should be fine using it. Although with Smartass and InteractiveX governors, screen off profiles are not needed because those two governors have screen off profiles built in. They will default to whatever your min cpu setting is while the screen is off.
