Root Clean rom fail?

so I got my SF a few days ago and successfully rooted it right away and added DJ05, CLEANROM .7, and the latest stable stupid fast kernel... Or so I thought.

This evening I went to the market and noticed that it was the upgraded version, which I didnt think was possible with .7... I hit the search button with the browser and this time instead of google, it went to bing.

just now I created a nandroid backup, re-flashed .7 and now I still have bing and the new market... I downloaded cwROM MGR, and all it just comes up blank...

I am not freaking out, phone still works and all, just frustrated that my phone seems to un-rom itself.

Anyone have any suggestions?

There's nothing wrong...,jt including the bing browser in his dj05 roms as i guess the googled one from the mesmorize wouldn't work

So yes if you use the stock browser with his roms it defaults search to bing... .use dolphin hd, skyfire or xscope to get around this for the moment. :)

I never received any market OTA alert. Just woke up this morning, fired up the phone, received a ROM Manager update alert, went over to market and bam ! new market was on phone. wtf ?

Yea I don't think it its a offer to get ota it just comes your way :D
 
Yep, I got it yesterday. I was looking through apps that have updates, clicked one, Market crashed (ha, "the market crashed") and when I went back in it was the new one. Not really sure if I like it, though..it was nice to just hit a tab and see all comments.

i personally prefer the old market atm...but im sure in time ill grow used to this one :rolleyes:
