Clearing Cache

I hope this is the right place to post... I tried looking up a thread regarding something similar, maybe I missed it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I have a good bit of games and such on it. I've clicked on the 'move to SD card' option for all of the ones I could. Anyway, I had some of the internal storage used mostly by applications. I moved most, if not all, to the SD card, so I was just wondering what was taking up space. Someone told me to clear the cache, so I started to and then I started noticing that the device memory was going up with every cache clear, instead of down. I guess my question is why and is there any way I can make it go down? Thanks for your help!

move the apps and then reboot the phone this will be the best way to clear cache unless you are rooted in then just go to recovery and clear cache but I'm doubting your rooted and the only way to clear cache is to be rooted. Or to manually do it app by app and then reboot.

I would think the memory should go up every time you clear cache on an app. Meaning you have more. If it goes down, then you have less.

I think he is saying that he's using more memory instead of freeing more memory. That's what I got anyways.

Thanks, I tried doing that but no change. :/

You don't have to be rooted to clean cache easily. Just download an app called Clean Master. There are others, but this is the one I use.
