I just flashed my first custom ROM onto my Opt V last night, now the phone has some bothersome glitches. First off, Clockworkmod thinks my device is an LG Optimus CLW690, and won't allow me to reflash cwrkmod unless i verify this. I tried and now none of my sensors (accelerometer, gyro, etc) does not work., my search key does nothing, and when i reboot into recovery, vol up does nothing, vol dn goes up, PTT goes down, Camera does nothing, and home and search keys do nothing but bring up the ROM Manager pic so I can't use recovery any more. PLEASE shed some light on how to fix this, someone...

What did you use to flash your recovery? Changing your recovery is done in rom not in recovery. Which version did you have before flashing? Your going to need terminal emulator so get that and I'll get the other links you need to flash a new recovery.

Edit: download http://www.mediafire.com/?vzc5k8taj9smmllthis and put it onto the root of your sd card (not in any folders)

Now fallow this post and type the three lines in your terminal emulator exactly as she tells you,

You might want to look at the sticky entitled "The truth About ROM Manager" once you get your phone back ln order.

To benslgdroid: If for some reason you hit a snag and need help (can't foresee this happening) just shoot me a PM. When I get back to the house I'll lend a hand, if necessary.

I was afraid this would happen.
The dev of ROM Manager got mad at the dev's of the IHO ROM's (long story) and borked his app only on the V's IHO ROM's somehow. It works fine on the Froyo ROM's.
I'm still gathering evidence before I report this to Google, but it doesn't seem like it's accidently done.
I need to flash a IHO ROM
from before this started to happen to confirm.

I don't know if the rom manager did this or what, But I purchased Rom Manager Pro and was backing up my current rom and the phone went into reboot mode and never came out!!...I have since downloaded a Android emulator to my pc and prepared to use the bridge provided and the emulator wont except any commands, (Not that i know if i'm using the right syntax or no) but thats where iv'e been for a day and a half......help me please if it's not to late!!!
