Root Clockworkmod Question

Maybe Amon can recover both but ClockworkMod can only do it's own? This recovery hasn't failed me yet, unlike Clockwork so i'm sticking with it :)

Good deal, looks like everything's intact. It wouldn't bother me to lose 4G though, we don't have it anywhere in my entire state that i'm aware of (SC), and i'm sure it won't be coming to my town for at least another few years if that (small town in SC). If it did screw up my keys, would i be able to restore to the very first backup i created when i first rooted and have it all back?

Basically, right now, you're good. If your original backup was with clockwork, no, you won't get your wimax keys back. But that's only if you somehow manage to lose them. So, like wrapkgb said, you can only use RA to get them back. That being the case, now that you have RA, no matter what, always keep at least one RA backup around that you know backed up your wimax keys.

Possibly but I would only restore a nand made by the same recovery. And I also only amon!! I always see issues with people and rom manager.

Done LOL I made a backup from the RA recovery screen itself the other week once i saw that my phone was running great with the ROM and kernel selection i have. I figured no matter what, that's my baseline backup in case anything should happen, and it's alot less confusing to use recovery than it is to use ROM Manager

Good reading. For the record I always rename my nandroids multiple ways....never an issue. I only use clockwork...never an issue. Haven't needed rom manager...dont use it at all

I guess I don't know why you need to keep many nandroids, lol
I backup every Rom I install because once I have all the settings and apps the way I want them, its easy to get them back. Each time I install a new ROM, I never know how it will run or if I like it. By having the option to go back, I can easily run what I like when I want. I guess I just like to play.

I learned tonight that in addition to just having fun, one of my backups saved my but when I tried flashing a ROM that aborted the install. I was able to easily restore my last favorite ROM and settings (myn).
