The indulge is a nightmare in comparision to most any other phone, esp other samsungs. :)

Yes I am alright ;), was sick a lil longer than I liked and havent been doing much of anything but vegging out on the couch with the xbox.

A few tips on whats needed to dev for the phone are

1. A working phone, doesn't necessarily need service on it, but helps.
( I have an esteem, but its died for some unknown reason and will not turn on.)
2. patience, as I and most devs I know dont ask for any donations to do what we do, but they are nice signs of appreciation and do help out with RL bills etc.
3. Do not ask for ETA's, I for one, aas most dev do this in our free time because we enjoy it. We dont get paid to do it, and thus owe no one nothing.


Now when I have something I general post up with details on how to get it, what does or does not work etc. I will even post up looking for testers if any are needed. I dont mind ppl asking how things are going etc, but I do not answer ETA questions as I usually dont know myself.

So with all that said, who can fix the esteem I have or get me another one to use?? lol

on that note why not do the same thing that this fourm and another fourm did to mod the indulge. have users make a pot. and get it up to like 600 bucks like those guys did then bam. i'm pretty sure devs. will mirgrate over. just gotta give them something appling, know what i mean?

Far as I know no one has ever collected on that bounty yet tho lol. I know most of the indulge devs now, and they like me do it because they enjoy it. Hell most of the main ones dont even use/own the indulge lol, tho ones not really needed for modded stock, but porting CM is another story.

ahhh okies i didn't know it just i really thought they collected on it after the work was done. i hear what you're saying about doing it because they enjoy it. but it doesn't mean that shouldn't support their work. XD if anyone is willing to start a pot let me know and i'll put what i can in ^_^

Well if any devs are reading this then ... please make an update for the Bluetooth. 'cuz my phonebook is not transfering to my car. just some food for thought on a ROM. I'll donate :cool:
