Root ClockWorkMod v5.0.2.7 (file system/recovery utility) update 01/12/12 FIXED

Yeap exactly what im working on is getting a working version of cwm on the LG Thrill.. Its been done
but hardly any of the options are executable.. Im using the Optimus as my copy platform..

download the zip to your Windows based computer , unzip it, and install using Odin

The instructions say 'install with Odin', but he (the guy who wrote the instructions) says it works with Gingerbread.

Does that mean I can install with Gingerbread and he just didn't update the instructions since Gingerbread is relatively new to these phones?
 
No. Gingerbread is the system you are using on your phone.

Odin is the installer to put CWM on your phone.

It doesnt matter if your running froyo or gingerbread, you still use the ODIN installer to get CWM :)

hey ive been up for 2hours trying to do this im stuck at the part about the stick.zip there is no folder including that can you please help me all of the codes i dont know as in "op" im new to this .my phone is rooted. it want update its android version 2.2.2. base version ee14 kernal version 2.6.32.9 build number shabby mod -0.9beta im tring to do your mod to see if all my updates will come through and fix that problem and plus itll be an upgraded version for me please help me my brain is pounding
