OP updated.

I'm going to try your kernel with a clean install of aokp42. I'm running it now on my corrupted one and its working great. I got Wi-Fi tether running with GPS fixed on a location and typing this in tapatalk and its running smooth. Well done trigger.

PS. I have it at 1836 as well :-)

So I decided to try your kernel out on cm10.1 beta 4 since it still reigns supreme as being the smoothest of all roms and it has fixed the screen on delay! But it seems to have caused more flickering.

It would really be awesome if the screen flicker could be fixed because cm10.1 beta 4 really is the best Rom. It truly is butter. There are certain things that lag in the official aokp42 and cm10.1 but this one runs almost perfect.

It is nice having official support but really what's the point if they don't run as smooth as this beta?

I wanted to update...I already said this in another thread but wanted to place it here since it's related to this kernel. Like I said before, I ended up flashing this on CM10.1 beta 4 and it actually fixed the screen on delay, but caused massive screen flicker during the animations. I couldn't take the flickering anymore and I really missed AOKP42 so I decided to do a full wipe and flash AOKP42, flash this kernel, and then flash the 20130301 gapps. I have to tell everyone that I'm glad I did. AOKP42 is running super smooth with this kernel. Yes it was smooth before, but it's even smoother now. I haven't run into any issues yet other than during my setup process my phone froze while trying to restore apps in titanium backup pro. I don't think this is kernel related because I was really stressing the phone and had it plugged in and a little heat had built up; It's run great since and I haven't seen any other issues at all.

Very well done on this kernel trigger.

I just found an interesting break down of governors on rootzwiki and after reading it I think having the updated X versions of the kernels would be awesome. Also after reading it I now know why I always felt interactive made my phone run the best. Check it out guys (and Nokoko :p ) It's a nice little breakdown and may help you better know which governor is best for you. For me it sounds like interactive is the way to go, and therefore interactiveX would be the most desirable governor to have. CPU Governors - RootzWiki

@ortrigger did you merge the display updates from cm10.1? I suspect those are causing the delays that imucarmen and others are seeing. But not having them increases flickering.

I'll grab your sources later this morning and check....

I should have them. I cloned the repo yesterday morning, made my changes, and compiled. Unless they weren't updated in the lge-kernel-iproj kernel repo...

Any chance we can get fast charge on this bad motor scooter? Also I think I remember that on broken out blitzkrieg kernel it charged above stock rate. Is that possible? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing.

Fast charge is a possibility. I will have to study up on it though. I have looked into adjusting the charge rate but with the way this phone heats up, I'm not really comfortable with it.

It was enabled in the beta AOKP builds (i believe). Could compare source with that to see how they implemented it.
