I am getting this --> "* has been denied Superuser Permissions" :(

2urtsnt.png

ok ! so at-last it least flashed :p
i do agree that there is some problem .. sorry for that ...
!
also the exact issue i had faced when i installed a rom in A70 may be leo2 or leo1
you cannot update binary also <--- i know it

it says like superuser permissions denied ...

try this fix :

Fix for update binary failed

try : settings settings for superuser to always allow
simple reboot ( may be twice )
does'nt work flash via fastboot once again ... :( no alternative

As I see it the new correction must solve all the problems but still do report back for any problems ! just extract and run correction.bat as you can get root access on shell...

do you least get permissions for shell at-least?
from
Code:
adb shell "su"

download the zip and extract any where ! from here : correction.zip
if yes then its really good just EXECUTE "correct.bat" after extracting the zip!
connect ur device in adb mode ( by ticking option of usb debugging from settings>applications>development also enable install from unknown location ticked..

I will recommend you to even try Zergrush v4 rooting , download from here :
Doomlord zurg v4

and run RUNME.bat :p

I tried correction.bat

--- STARTING ----
--- WAITING FOR DEVICE
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
--- Plz give superuser permissions...
$
It stoped at "Plz give superuser permissions"

@ phone screen it shows "shell has been granted superuser permissions"

adb shell "su" is granting permissions

but
C:\sdk-tools>adb devices adb server is out of date. killing... * daemon started successfully * List of devices attached 0123456789ABCDEF device C:\sdk-tools>adb remount remount failed: Operation not permitted C:\sdk-tools>

and I have tried all the commands to let you know what is happening.
C:\>cd sdk-tools

C:\sdk-tools>adb remount

As I am newbie please let me know how to unpack system.img and editing it.

@rudraeja first of all really thankful for your replies and your continued intrest in this project
Well i have a good news for every one !---> i have found the exact cause of such mis behaviors [ i am damn 99% sure that it is the only fault ! ]
you will be glad to know the device is 100% rooted but there is a property in boot image that needs to be changed :p
( if you want to know what is exactly i am speaking do pm me ! i do not want to type all that extra stuff now :) )
hence mission PLAN A accomplished :D

since this is getting very late for rooting can you plz provide me with your chat account ? on gmail or what so ever ... ( you can find my gtalk in the "about Me " tab in my public profile ) this speeds up things very fast !

first lets have a look at your posts :

1.) does su binary update? <-no or yes?
2.) regarding your adb error ,, i am sorry to say that you are doing it a bit wrong !
the problem that happens is that i have Already embedded a adb server in my zip :p
hence when u use ur adb server from sdk tools it creates a second instance for the server ! and hence gives error like
adb server is out of date

i have designed the zip .bat file like it will take a hault after requesting you for superuser permissions ! you have to hit enter <-- sure you missed it !
I have abandoned the previous zip as it gave what it had to :p
now plz delete it ...

i revised the code inside the bat and now rewriting....

3.) also for the zurg log you specified :
had
Code:
 Hellions with BLUE flames !
that ends the matter ! <--- proves that you did not get root !
also just suggesting you can add [ HIDE ] BLA BLA BLA [ / HIDE ] without spaces for hiding

PLAN B :
i want you to do some simple steps ...
1.) download THIS file and EXTRACT the contents in sdcard ( no folder , just sdcard ) i.e /sdcard
2.) using adb , confirm if device is attached
then give
adb shell
now a # will be seen
then these commands !
3.) give these commands :
Code:
su
Code:
mount -o remount,exec /dev/block//vold/179:1 /sdcard
Code:
cd /sdcard
Code:
./dump_image boot boot.img
let it get finished

4.) now closing the terminal you will notice a file created in your sdcard called boot.img
upload it in mediafire as if i get that file ( provided it does not get corrupt ) you will just have to flash the thing that is it ....

Plan A gave exact error place !
so i decided to write Plan C ....
i was writing a script [ executable ] but then i just got lazy and found a app alternative for solving that problem !

plan C is even simpler !
yay !
install THIS apk and open app follow the instructions..
your phone will REBOOT ... make it reboot once again (sorry but you have to :p )
then try issuing adb remount command and report...

i will write everything after this...

regarding unpacking system.img ---> the good part is i already have all tools you will need and the exact instructions you will have to use as i have worked with it for many times!!
but the sad part is you need Linux or Mac for these things as both of them have UNIX base
you can dualboot ubuntu ( recommended for windows users ) or use vmware fusion
if you have enthusiasm and enough resources pm me , will surely guide you out !!

I have internet connection problem on my system. I will try it today after 4:30. when I return back from my college .

posting this from my phone (opera hui)

I have downloaded the system.img file. Can some one please help me on how to flsh this file and root my phone. I coudn't find any tools to flash this system.img file:mad::mad: ??? Any other manual way to do it ... Thanks in advance:) ..

Ok
problems sorted out ...
Developed a new system.img with all corrections !

You can download it here :

Extract the Zip any where
1.) RUN REBOOT.bat
if you locate your device in the list
DO NOT disconnect ur device --> in any condition
your phone will reboot and then let it install drivers
3.) RUN ROOT.bat
phone will again reboot and may show charging icons !
disconnect when the phone reboots and then turn on manually
AFTER THIS CHECK if u r roooted ...
by SU checker App from Android Market
then after confirmation run this !
4.) RUN BUSYBOX.bat

ROOT2.zip discarded , ROOT3 in progress.....

what is SHA512 checksum:D

what is the use of it ???
It is used to check the file integrity !
Due to current Internet crowd errors files may get corrupted or/and modified in a bad way !
hence You can download this tool and check its SHA512 code and compare with what i have provided if they match exactly then the file is ok else report
here is a good Checksum generator for windows : Hash Generator for Windows 7 - Universal Hash Generator Tool - Windows 7 Download

I tried the above method ....
I'm getting this error while trying to run ROOT.bat

starting
flashing
waiting for device ....
when exactly shud I run ROOT.bat ???
