It looks to be a common issue by all accounts. From the thread, you can try installing the kernel again, or checking to see if the call recorder app isn't installed already.

Just in the app drawer, is there no call recorder app there? Or, hit the search button (magnifying glass) and type call recorder and see what comes up.

there's nothing in app drawer and my search button crashes! As soon as you start to type!
