could be merged or something, but this is more the progress/development thread though and that is more of the release thread, plus we dont want the release ending up on page 5 of the merge lol. ill leave the decision up to mouse and anyone else it may concern though

yes, but its low on the list. that comes after the wifi, the bug that causes you to leave unreasonably long voicemails, and a long nap lol. we will work on it at some point unless someone else wants to tinker with it, its probably just something in the gps.conf
 
I believe this happens on other ROMs, stock ROMs too, but it usually doesn't completely break it. I found a bug where if I enable Facebook sync it breaks SMS and I can't send texts to anybody. Anyone know why? I'm using contacts+ for a work around now.
 
thats messed up, you sure their number are entered correctly? you are aware that putting the country code (the 1) in front of the number will completely screw up sms sending right? and also, alot of times it will make duplicate copies of people, one will have the phone number the other will have the info it got from facebook

i always hate it when i accidentally save a number as 1-###-###-#### instead of ###-###-#### kuz itll make a call but texts will get rejected by the system
 
I am aware of that, but I tried texting even a short code number, people who are not on Facebook, and it doesn't work. It breaks it. Once I disabled Facebook contacts sync messages sent blazing fast. Also, idk if this has happened to anyone else but for some reason every once in a while my data will disconnect and I have to restart the radio or my phone to get data back.

I have the exact same problem with the data. I also just noticed that if your writing a long text and it turns into a MMS it will hang when sending.
 
well, you can always view your data usage on the boost site lol. there should be an option somewhere i think though. and as far as nfc i dont know if its enabled or even possible. did stock have nfc?
 
This phone has just about everything. Even an FM radio that I can't find use for because there's not a decent app that can take advantage of it. I used to use NFC for Google wallet, now I just use it to share content with friends or family.
 
When I say radio I mean the hardware, there is no FM music radio app on stock, but the phone should have the hardware.
 
it has SOME of the hardware, its not all there, alot of phones have the main chip but its not connected to the right things for it to actually function
