Root CM10 Development (moved to upp)

guspeed that means you have made 500 posts. and i am not sure if it should be like that or not but id assume that anything not made by zte with the trick embedded in it would require the correct block settings, this is generic software like the cwm so im sure it has to be the ones we changed

should I change it back and try again? Do you think that is why it won't boot?
 
i think it has more to do with the missing files tho why it wouldnt boot. but yea make sure you know that mmcblk0p19 is actually the data partition and 18 is actually the cache partition, not the settings in the tree
 
id just leave it to him tho unless you wanna go thru and use my earlier suggestion of going through hoarks source bit by bit, there are alot of things missing from the boardconfig among other files and the prebuilt files arent there, youd have to change everything in hoarks source line by line and file by file for the things you cant manually edit like prebuilts
 
she didnt pick the phone up tho so i dunno. shes probably pissed kuz i told her i had to hop off for a second to make sure i got dm the info about the incorrect partition table before he tried to run a build and you guys all tested it wondering what was wrong. just remember pretty much every bit of information i have regarding the phone is in this and the cwm threads so if you run into problems take a look back to make sure i havent stumbled on a solution already. and ill be back in a while to test and help debug
 
if you guys get it to atleast boot up i can test it for you from there. i see you guys have some pretty good teamwork going here lol. hope progress continues at this pace, i may just need to switch my EVO Design 4g for this phone as a day to day.
 
i should have just went with this instead considering the price differences i figured i was getting something better, but instead theres been practically no support for the HTC Design4 in monthes. my girl has this phone and we may just have to trade out to please my flash addiction =p
 
make sure if it boots you guys check the internal storage space, if its down to a total of like 3-500 mb the partitions are mapped wrong
