Root CM10 progress Update Thread

I agree. The Avid has a terrible rotation problem. I am on my 3rd replacement and all of them have had this problem. My current one has to be restarted daily to correct it.
 
After going though the rom thoroughly, here's all the bugs i came across.

1. Notification light sometimes doesn't work if you have the phone on vibrate, or are on a call, also it doesn't blink if you have a notification while on the charger, last part isn't a bug, I'm just used to it and I miss it now :(

2. MMS doesn't work. (known)

3. If you go into Settings -> System -> Notification drawer -> Widget buttons and enable LTE switch, you will never see 4G again because it defaults it too off and it will never come back on, even if you disable the toggle.

4. While on 3G, the data up/down doesn't show. (doesn't matter, just something i noticed)

5. Do Home -> Menu -> System Settings -> Storage Settings.apk crashes, go there by anything else though and i think it is fine, at least from my experience.

6. Roaming Indicator Off. Been using Xposed to change it, can't find the eri.xml to replace.

7. Bluetooth is working for some of us and isn't working for the rest of us, maybe it's a different model or something?

This is it for right now.
This is a great rom that you've made and I hope you continue to make it.

If you want to go back to 4g you have to reset radio that how it work in this ROM the radio setting change in stock is cdma , gsm/CDMA ,lte/cdma/evo for this ROM is CDMA,gsm/CDMA,lte/CDMA so the way it work is 1x,3g,4g to switch between radio setting you need a app call mangelow network to reset 4g back if you are in 3g use that app you have to hit lte/gsm and then hit back lte/CDMA that for cm10 and you can get that app in Google store

And the Bluetooth don't work I am working on that some error with d-bus bluez but I found a fix by weekend it may work I still can build with the fix to much work here is what I found but I still don't have time to build again and see if work

And for MMS I need to someone to check if is working go to setting,more,mobile network,access point names and hit both option in there then test MMS and let me know

It work for me I think for someone that is not working just check that options if they are check lol
 
I have them "internet.metropcs"

Still no MMS.

As for the 4G nofication tick, I'm talking about in
LTE Tick, it makes it come off and never come back on like it should, I don't really get what you're trying to say because it's not really well said maybe?

Also this does nothing, it leaves me with no data now.

I have to reflash the rom every time i want to use 4g then reset it back

This the menu you get like say to reset 4g when you are in 3g is lte/gsm and hit back lte/cdma that will reset 4g

I had the same problem and just fixed it by setting it to let/CDMA auto and going through setting and gettinto mobile networks and setting network mode to global
 
The ril and data is still not "right" it works but I am still looking into getting it "right".
