Root CM10 progress Update Thread

Yay for cellphones and cable modem having wireless and built in battery backup!

everyone has to start somewhere. youre already miles ahead of me. i simply dont have the time,even if i knew where to begin. hopefully this is your first of many builds
 
I'm pretty sure that if he did, he's probably finding even more bugs that he'd have to take care of before we can beta this one. My expectation is that we've probably got another week, optimistically.
 
if anyone else would love to help u can make a build box and learn some of this with us :)
totlth is the main man on this project and me and dadcup are trying to do this aswell. this stuff isnt easy. when something gets spit out that works it will be posted asap for testing to a select few before a full release. until then asking about progress wont be of much help in building
 
fios and no cpu? dannnng. go hit up a thrift store, they usually got cheap cpu for sale. just upgrade it lil by lil and make a build box :P
 
I have had a lil relapse with whatever bug this is that's kicking me around. I haven't updated the progress much lately. I am getting full builds done, they're just not booting. I'm sure its just something that I am missing, but be assured that I'm actively trying to figure it out. I'm down to 1 build box now too, so that has slowed me down some. Thanx for the patience and stay groovy.

I should have a computer tomorrow or the following day, would love to help with the development, so could someone please link a guide and what I need to get started?
 
I'm still plugging away at this. Its the only android project I am working on. At this point I'm sure that it is some small detail that I have missed. Got a build going now, so we shall see. And I should have the device tree back in repo tonite, in case anyone wants to check it out. Just need to get a bootable build done and we should be good from there.
Anyone looking to get into building or modding, I would suggest to get to know your phone inside and out. And please search before you post questions, as this is the best way to learn instead of being told the answer. I am "always" available to help out as are others in this forum. Together we can make some good "stuff" happen for our device.
