I need help.

I'm trying to figure out if you can add the sounds to Boot Animation on CM11.
Has anyone got the info or anybody get this to work ?

welcome to AF!!!!!!!!

since every device is different we will need to know what device you have?

I am using a HTC One M8

i moved this to the One M8 - All Things Root - Android Forums for better help.

i unfortunately do not have your device, but others here might be able to help you better.

not sure, but you might be able to add an mp3 file to where the bootanimation.apk is found in cm11.

but again not sure as i never really liked to add sound to bootanimations.

I've tried adding a .mp3 file to the system/media folder but nothing. Also tried adding a bootsound to the system/bin and still nothing haha.
