CM11 Developer and Tester thread for ZTE MSM 8x30 devices

Ok well I'm not sure what thread this is man but my question still stands.

Is there any work for a root to the ZTE Unico Z930L on Straight Talk?

I can't find anything on the internet except for this development thread.

Framaroot and towelroot don't work on the phone.
 
Alright so its for all these models, ok I understand.

My next question is about how to install this one.

I have only put root on to 5 phones so far so I only know basics.
Most were simple one click root that an average person could use.
usually its like have stay awake and debug on, use proper usb cable, have the driver on the pc?
Had to play with odin for samsung nothing complicated but like theres no good directions here.
Im assuming I do all the standard prep and then flash my kernal and insert yours?
 
For root... I dunno for that phone. Have you tried motochopper? I used vroot for my zte source but that program is gone... Deleted from the internet.

This thread is aimed at people who want to test cm11 and have prior knowledge of root, adb, fastboot... etc...
 
Sorry about that, I reread the whole thread and I see this is for testers like you said, my bad Im usually really tired when I go on the internet.

doubt its unrootable, ztes arent that well protected lol. worst case, learn to use fastboot to boot a recovery, then use the recovery to flash said recovery permanently and flash a root package. of course you would need a custom recovery to flash but if there isnt one already that shouldnt be too difficult for someone to make, heck whoever is building for the unico should have one built along side cm, wont be fine tuned im sure, no frills but it should work for the basics

as far as a standard root method i dont even remember what i used on the warp 4g, might have been framaroot, might not have been, couldnt honestly tell you i havent even seen that phone in the better part of a year
 
I have. It works flawless except random reboots with GPS and no camera. Zte radiant BTW. Is there any way for me to continue developing this ROM in any way. Unless some one has experience and the radiant. I would like to the camera working atleast.

I have a optimus f3, it also has processor MSM8930. I installed this rom you posted, but the screen is just black. How could I solve?

Do you have the Straight Talk zte z998 or the one from AT&T ?

is your phone rooted ?

do you have a custom recovery for your phone ?
 
yanmake0903, be patient. This is obviously a tester thread, meaning it is in the process of being developed as a daily ROM. Also, it would be smart to post what problems you are having to at least let them know what needs to be fixed, unless the problem has already been discussed. Sorry to OUDHS if I am out of line for posting this

Oh.thank you.i will be patient.but I don't like mifavor of zte.have other ui's rom.?
