CM11 Developer and Tester thread for ZTE MSM 8x30 devices

Hey All!

I'd Like to help in any way possible. .

I'm an AT&T Radiant [Z740] user. I've used this CM11 tester Ver3a.
It runs great.

I'm currently running the De-ODEXed "stock" ROM, rooted and stripped of all AT&T/worthless apps [bloatware]. Which I installed after I bricked the device after 24hrs of ownership!

While running CM11 UNOFFICIAL Tester version 3a, I only encountered a few problems:

1-Headphone Jack doesn't function when plugged. .

2-In calls, rear microphone works instead of front. I personally find this odd that there's visibly two microphones on this device. .

3-The Camera crashes and will not work. This problem isn't a bother to me. .

I also have encountered some problems with rebooting. As anytime I would reboot, CM would crash, then I would clear everything and/or factory reset and then it would work. One time I re-flashed the ROM and it then didn't have rebooting issues.

I would feel comfortable with this ROM as my daily driver right now with only the audio fixes. I really need to use my headphone jack.

I'm looking forward to seeing this phone get fully Cyanogenmodded! Even if it never gets recognized officially. I'll take a fully working singular DEV ROM over this Mi Favor crap any day!

My last phone was a SGH-I437 Samsung Galaxy Express [AT&T] running CM11 [4.4.4], then I shattered the screen.

I grabbed the Z740 because its more than capable of running Kit-Kat and it was cheap.

CM11 I will wait for you!

hi,Friend,I'm a student from China,I'm looking forward to the new cm11 of hroak13,but i met some problems,for example,the camera,the headphone,and the flashlight. now i use 4.1ROM of you, coordinate apex launcher and exposed ,very very beautiful,but RAM changed smaller, i think the ROM have many unnecessary APP,so i hope you make a simplify ROM，like cm11.so that the RAM will change big,I'm appreciate it if you do it,thankyou. my QQ is 997705898,let's make friend.you can use QQ international,sorry,my English is poor,thank you again.
 
Can somebody please let us know if there's another thread about this project?

Using a Z740, would be awesome to have a stable working CM11 on it.
 
I have a ZTE Engage (v8000/nova) from cricket wireless and I wanted to know if this will work if I change it up a little the difference is that its msm7630_surf and these zte devices are msm8960 devices I really don't know what that means to be honest, also its a CDMA device. If you could help that'll be great and very appreciated :)
 
I'd like to help give support for the sonata z740, I want to flash it on my uncles sonata from cricket but before I do need to know if you need the manifest and cert files in the META-INF folder and than find a solution on the problems your encountering with the rom.
 
I installed that cm11 test rom without gapps... to the z740 with clockworkmod and now I have completely bricked the device and I also lost cwm so now I'm stuck with stock recovery I tried that unbrick method didn't work I'm really screwed. Any help or suggestions on how to fix this problem would be nice.
