No, he should be installing one of the zv5 ROMs. zv4 would just be more of a step backwards.

I agree except looking over the install instructions for ZV5 and being unsure of his/her level of skill in regards to ROMs, ZV4 would probably be a safer bet. But yes ZV5 is better, just looks more intimidating to install.

It looks as though Izzxy has previously bricked a phone, it would be good to avoid that risk I think...

That is correct but is correct but the brick that happen wasn't fixable to lg phone I decided to move on to lg volt. But I'll zv5 would most up to date I'll take a look at both thanks I'll just wait til they fix the bug for cm 12

But I think the point here is he wants Lollipop, which really, the only things not working are vibrate and IR.

Data also isn't reliable in this build which is keeping me from using it as a daily driver.

I haven't gotten any roms to work though, I tried this and candy. It just stays on the roms boot loading screen. Has anyone successfully put a rom on a Volt for Sprint Prepaid?

Just got it to work, first time installing ROMs, had to Wipe the Data, cache, and Dalvik.

Wifi worked just fine on the previous build, it was just the 4G/3G that wasn't right.

You never could, really. There was an OC kernel, but it was discovered to not actually do anything. The processor speed is hardware set. Software can't change it.

Is it safe to assume that the CPU speed that it showed was inaccurate, cause it didn't seem to go past the minimum or maximum.

Can this be dirty flashed over the 2/28 build? Or should I just wipe, flash the new build, and restore my data?

Due to this being unofficial and still in beta, and how often I will be updating it, I just save everything I can on the SD card, so when there is an update I can just flash it, and then wipe. Am I supposed to wipe first? or does the order not matter?

Flashed this thank you. I couldn't get LTE to work for me or the camera only front facing works. I've been running candy Rom. Rear camera has never work with either rom.
