adb push LG_Persist.img /dev/block/mmcblk0p24Damn. The LG_Persist partition is zereo'd out forever it seems. Not even dd'ing the image fixed it.

I do not get the error for not being able to mount lg_persist.furryoflife and eduardog, heres a twrp kitkat modified to not load the persist-lg partition. try it and lemme know what happens.
twrpfurry.img is inside zip since i cant upload just the img, unpack it then fastboot boot twrpfurry.img or fastboot flash recovery twrpfurry.img, your choice. i would recommend booting it first to see what happens

So how is everyone getting calling and SMS to work? I can't figure it out for the life of me, and I'm getting a No SIM error on my lockscreen. Until I can actually use this as a phone, I've been forced to revert back to stock (I'm still on ZV3 by the way )
Anyways, great work on this ROM, it's much smoother than stock! It's nice to have TWRP available too. No one over at XDA has done much development for this little gem, unfortunetly Keep up the good work!
Was posted on page 2, but thanks anywayTo the Devs and anyone else having trouble with the lockscreen staying locked, I may be way behind on this but I just discovered that in Settings-Display there is a setting called Lift to wake, if you turn this off the lock screen stays locked, not sure how to fix this feature but for now if you just turn it off it does the job!
I never had any problem with Kk roms. It's lollipop roms that won't go past boot logoCould you flash anything with no problems?
The error is gone now! And CM Flashed perfectly!Huh durr. I figured out why the LG partition stayed zero'd. I was giving the wrong commands. It's dd if=/sdcard/xxx.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p24
Ohh okay sorry about thatWas posted on page 2, but thanks anyway
was it with lollipop twrp or the special trwp made just for you?The error is gone now! And CM Flashed perfectly!
Lollipop TWRP. And yes, @eduardog131 was able to restore it. He just gave the wrong code to put into adb at first.was it with lollipop twrp or the special trwp made just for you?
Also was @eduardog131 able to restore your LG_Persist partition?
You need to open the rom zip with archive manager and drag the boot.img from the out folder into it(Archive manager window) overwriting the boot img that was previously there. Hope this helpsHello, I've been trying to build CM12 using Bad Mofo's device tree, its my first time developing for an android phone. I have my device tree all set up and I can successfully build Cyanogenmod. The problem comes after flashing the zip from the out directory, and I get left with an "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification error.", and I just wanted to know if any of you could help me with this.
I think the intermittent data issue is pretty common. I experienced it routinely when running it. Sometimes I would get 3G, sometimes 1x but never 4G. It would drop out pretty regularly. As for the backup restore, I have no idea. Maybe one of our fabulous developers can help you with that one. At this point I would be really happy if the data issues are resolved and the vibration is fixed at some point. I can live without stock camera if there's a workaround, but unreliable data is a killer. I also haven't used the BT on this ROM and would need that to be reliable also. Overall, I'm amazed at all the developers have accomplished with this device, it's really incredible.Need some help, guys. I flashed this along with the zv5 radio and gapps. Followed instructions on the install, and everything went smoothly. After setting up the device, despite the dialer code fix attempts, my phone network keeps dropping out intermittently. Secondly, I can no longer restore my backup of the ZV5 stock rooted rom in TWRP 2.8.1.0. If I attempt to restore all partitions, it fails in the Data phase. If I only try to restore the system, it completed and hands on the LG logo on startup. Lastly, I cannot access phone's micro sd card via MTP to transfer over any files I want to flash. it will mount as a camera, but that's it. Where do I go from here?
I'm no stranger to flashing ROMs, but need some direction on maintaining network stability in the CM12 rom or allow me to revert to my backup until the remaining setbacks are resolved. Any ideas?
Thanks for listening...
Settings>About Phone>Tap 'Build Number' 7 times to enable Developer Options. From there enable root to apps and adb.also, I'm really dumbfounded how I've basically lost root when I thought the whole reason and purpose of cyanogenmod was being a superuser...<<blinkblink>>
