just really was not thinking i already had the rom on there and was going to flash it to start over agen and dident wipe nothing just flashed an hit reboot

Is there anyway I can bring back download mode an use lgflash tool to bring it back to stock

So we all know that CM doesn't have apps like HiddenMenu that are used to control MMS proxy/APN. So, I remember that either there needs to be a fix based like one on the Virgin S3...Or add in the APN+proxy.

I really don't know. I'm not even clear on how a dirty flash wiped it out to start with, especially if you were just flashing over the same thing. Should've been fine. You were using TWRP? Is recovery gone too?
 
switched to CM12 full-time now, so will try to help. for starters, it looks like init.d is not working. I'll try to fix and post to this thread. Looks great, I just wish themes were working for me and Pandora crashes so far.

Everything's gone its just a black screen an when I plug it into my computer it comes up as a mass storage and has a image file an some other one

Is it possible to write a debrick img to a sd card an boot into download mode from that

Boot into recovery, and restore your backup
 
Nope, init.d works....the test script I was using fails on this CM12 in terminal (and works in stock ZV5). Had to change the script but it now tests positive with current boot image and busybox on rails. Before I realized it was a test script syntax incompatibility with this CM12, I modified ramdisk init.rc and reflashed Koolaid boot image. I also discovered Busybox X appeared incompatible in terminal with 2/28 CM12 with respect to run-parts. Stericson Busybox and Busybox on Rails Work. JRummy Busybox wouldn't install regular version but did install zip-align version. No need to run init.d twice, so I restored to 2/28 Koolaid boot image. :-)

Just ran into a strange issue. I had flashed this ROM late last week and reverted back to zV5 via my TWRP backup. I just noticed that calls are not showing up on my phone. It doesn't ring when someone calls, or show up on the screen. I can make calls, send texts, and use 4G. For some reason calls are not being acknowledged by my phone. Anyone have a theory?

Sorry to hear that. I have had the black screen issue before also. I am on linux so when plugged in it would load up a bunch of partitions, but was always able to get into recovery by holding vol- and power until it reboots to Factory Reset Processing screen. If that doesn't work you may have restore using lg flash tool and DL mode.

well i cant get into dl mode right now and when i use lg flash tool it loads everything and when it says ready and i unplug it and plug back in it doesn't do anything do you know if theirs anyway to use a debrick.img on my sd card and boot dl mode like that sorta like the way unbrick the galaxy s3???

well i cant get into dl mode to be able to use lg flash tool every time i try it loads everything and i unplug an plug back in it dose nothing do you know of a way to force download mode with a debrick.img kinda like the same way to unbrick galaxy s3?????

it's not for a different phone, its for this one. i just couldn't find the page that i got it from. also that is the one i used to flash this rom with from zv5

furryoflife: did flashing the recovery then using that to install the ROM not work?
