Well what other choice is there? Is is possible to upload the persist folder, or a nandroid and use that? cause I honestly have no clue what so ever. And everyone else will be confused.
furryoflife:
i had the same problem as you, just use this cwm reovery and it should flash (i couldn't find the page on XDA where i got it from so i'll mirror it for now
i had actually flashed mine from the odexed zv5 stock rom so that isn't the problem

There's an idea. Granted, it would be a couple gigs but could someone with working cm12 make a back up, send it to him and have him restore that?Well what other choice is there? Is is possible to upload the persist folder, or a nandroid and use that? cause I honestly have no clue what so ever.
If someone could do that, I would love them forever. Also it will not flash the CM, but it is flashing the stock perfectly. The error it is giving me is something along the line of this rom is made for x5, your phone is lg_ls740v3There's an idea. Edit: by all accounts I've heard, cwm is dead technology. Personally I like twrp interface better. I don't see why people still bother with cwm at all
Well then something's wrong with the recovery you're using. The zip tries to grab the model from build.prop in the recovery. That recovery is most likely defining itself as *LG_ls740v3*. Just remove asserts at the top from updater-script inside META-INF from the zip.If someone could do that, I would love them forever. I wasn't saying not to try. You have nothing to lose. It's just that by rights, cwm shouldn't work. It might install, but your radio will probably be borked, which is why cwm has been ditched.Well what other choice is there? Are you on zv3? Try updating to zv5 first. If someone could do that, I would love them forever. Also it will not flash the CM, but it is flashing the stock perfectly. The error it is giving me is something along the line of this rom is made for x5, your phone is lg_ls740v3
I am on zv5. I have an idea I am going to try.Are you on zv3? Try updating to zv5 first.
And it didn't work. If someone could somehow upload a nandroid backup for me to try, I would be thankful to them forever.I am on zv5. I have an idea I am going to try.
Yo dude just try editing out the assert lines with Notepad++ in Windows. It's not that hard. And it didn't work. If someone could somehow upload a nandroid backup for me to try, I would be thankful to them forever.
I did. It still errored on me. Not the same error, but a diffrent one.Yo dude just try editing out the assert lines with Notepad++ in Windows. It's not that hard.
Which is?I did. It still errored on me. Not the same error, but a diffrent one.
Then remove THAT line.ApplyParsedPerms: lsetfilecon of /system/lost+found to ubject_r:system_file:s0 failed: Operation not supported on transport endpoint
set_metadata_recursive:s0: some changes failed.
I could even show you me doing it. I honestly did it twice. I am as confused as you are.Try this cwm.androidforums.com/threads/cwm-recovery-touch.885605/
I still find it hard to believe you actually downgared using lg flash tool & the supplied tot. And it not restoring your partitions correctly.
I'm just going to give up for now. If someone would be able to upload a nandroid backup for me to try, that would be nice.
Thanks, I will try this.I am unsure if it helps, but here is a copy of my persist-lg partition found at https://mega.co.nz/#!Hh0VjJYb!NWgxg7OINO2VxLClBAyp3fECyZNnmcwV3r6hFcbDnEA

Don't know if there's anything you can do. Just how did you go about flashing it?need help bad flashed the rom to my lg volt and now theirs just a black screen not able to go into download mode or anything is there anything i can do?
Those having the MMS problems...This is a common CDMA CM problem. You're just missing Sprint's MMS proxy+APN. I'm sure you can add the MMS APN in Mobile Networks. I'll try to pull an APN from my sister's Desire.
