I honestly do not understand this. It still will not go past the boot logo. The md5 matches perfectly. I checked it.try downloading image again
Mount MTP in recovery
Copy image to External_SD
Unmount MTP
Install.
Pretty sure your doing it correctly, but think you may have a corrupted DL. Check the md5 sum on dl page against yours
I think something is wrong with your recovery? Why does it say unable to mount?
I suggest redownloading and reflashing recovery
Mine does not say that in red
it will not let me go into download mode for some reason.I'd also say that something is wrong. Try to use the lg flash tool to downgrade to zv3, then flash twrp and the cm12 ROM. It looks like your persist-lg partition is corrupted for some reason, are you sure you didn't format it or erase something on that partition?
Try to go into mounts in twrp and uncheck the box next to persist-lg and try flashing cm12 again. See what happens and let us know.

I figured out a new development. Omni flashed perfectly with no problems what so ever.Try to download the zv5 modem and flash it. That should restore your laf partition and re enable download mode. If not, then I hope you took a backup of your laf.IMG before you flashed twrp or any Roms, because you can reflash your laf partition from android itself with adb.
Are laf images universal for the volt does anyone know?

And where do I get it?Weird. I'd still try to flash the modem and get download mode back and downgrade to zv3. Almost positive that persist-lg for you is corrupt and causing the problems.
My apologys. I was holding vol up and power. Anyways, I will try this now.Weird. I'd still try to flash the modem and get download mode back and downgrade to zv3. Almost positive that persist-lg for you is corrupt and causing the problems.
I am still getting the error after I used the flash tool.Weird. I'd still try to flash the modem and get download mode back and downgrade to zv3. Almost positive that persist-lg for you is corrupt and causing the problems.
I am still getting the error after I used the flash tool.
Interesting I followed your install process to the letter but I can't get LTE to work for nothing. Can anyone help me? Also I can't find in settings the option to turn off the mobile data/:I've been running the 2-28 build all weekend, runs great and is for the most part stable. I haven't gotten any random reboots, but some apps force close. Usually only when I'm messing around with settings in the app. Texting and MMS work just fine, calling too, and LTE works faster than my home WiFi connection sometimes! I also seem to be getting better signal overall.
For what its worth, my install process looks like this:
Wipe/factory reset
Flash cm12
Flash gapps
Flash zv5 radio
Flash Universal Boost APN Fix
I don't know if flashing the radio is necessary, and I haven't tried it without flashing the radio, but I've had working data first boot every time with doing it this way.
I haven't tested Bluetooth yet, NFC won't even turn on, and GPS seems to work, but I've yet to give it a road test.
I downloaded a fresh copy of everything but the stuff needed for the downgrade tool. It's honestly just not working. Omni works fine, so I have no clue if it's my phone, or the rom being buggy.Did you download a fresh copy of twrp?
Hope you can figure this out...
Thank you this worked for me but sadly still no LTEI was having that issue as well, after I flashed the 2/28 version.
But! I think I fixed it by going back into the radio menu and selecting "CDMA auto (PRL)" for the "preferred network ."
You could try that.
Edit: I may have misunderstood. My issue was the signal would repeatedly disappear, then come back, every thirty second or so.

I just don't understand it what so ever. This has been the most stubborn ROM I have ever tried to flash. Does CWM work for this? or is there no CWM? Also, should I do it from zv3 or zv5?That sucks...
How long have you been running the ROM? I think for most of us it took a while before LTE would work.. Don't know why but if your apns are right try to just forget about LTE and use your phone as normal...maybe you'll get lucky

I actually came from stock walk originally, then flashed from omnirom to cm12, then flashed back to omni. It worked for me every timeI don't think the cwm we have is for cm12.
And I would assume zv5 but I honestly do not know
So I guess I am just stuck? Like I honestly have no clue what is wrong. Omni installs perfectly. So is it a rom problem?I don't think the cwm we have is for cm12.

I can try pulling the whole log if that would work.I don't think the cwm we have is for cm12.
