waiting for fix of vibration issue--nfc issue--charge only mode not working---##3424## code to enable/disable diag mode not working--and camera quality
but still a very good rom..thnks

You shouldn't be using CWM for anything other than the old zv4 rooted ROM.
You need to use the Lollipop TWRP to flash this, or any other Lollipop ROM. It's linked in the first post.

I am using TWRP. I'm just asking if it works for this. Could you look at the log I posted and see if there is anything wrong? It will not flash, but every other rom flashes.
 
I've been using this for the past few days and I have some feedback. WiFi tether works fantastic, USB tether on the other hand doesn't seem to work. Notifications don't seem to work at all. I haven't been getting any alarms, texts, or calls on either vibration or volume. I'm not sure if 4g is working because on v5 it was spotty in my house anyway.

Otherwise, it seems perfect.

I don't think you are using the correct TWRP. There is one specifically for Lollipop that you need to use linked in the first post. Looking at your log I don't think you are using it.

You are flashing gapps too right?

I am using the link here for TWRP. I could redownload it again. And I'm not flashing GApps as well. I'll try that too. But I've tried that already.

So this time I made sure I was flashing Lollipop TWRP. I wiped everything but SD. I then flashed CM and then the GApps. Wiped Dalvik, and rebooted. Still suck at boot logo.

according to your log, your persist-lg partition is empty. @whoshotjr2006 has already advised you to use the lg-flash tool and downgrade/restore zv3.

And I did that already. I could try again. I dont understand the difference it would make since other roms flash fine. When I get home I'll use the lg flash tool again.

How long have you been running the ROM? I think for most of us it took a while before LTE would work.. Don't know why but if your apns are right try to just forget about LTE and use your phone as normal...maybe you'll get lucky

I'm been using the ROM about a day but MMS won't work either so I am on stock rooted deodexed zv5 ROM now everything works like magic(:
 
Don't know if it is the rom or me but I can not get firefox to run. It crashes after loading. I tried reinstalling, clearing cache, fixing permissions. Nothing seemed to work. Also, I can say without a doubt LTE doesn't work. This is a great rom, I am looking forward to using this as a daily driver.

OK, the log didn't indicate anything to suggest you had switched to the new recovery. You have to have gapps installed or it probably won't boot, or it might boot, but be all screwed up.

TWRP 2.8.5.0 is the lollipop TWRP right? Because that is the version he is using according to the screenshot in post #202. So as @Bad_MOFO_33 said, his persist-lg partition is empty. That is if I'm not missing anything. :)
 
I just installed this, no problems with installing, but it complained about no sim card detected, didn't have LTE, although I did have 3G. Didn't have a chance to try to get LTE going, had to restore my backup because i didn't backup my contacts. Both cameras were working. Everything else seemed good. If I can get LTE going, I will probably keep this on full time.

Not having luck with LTE, and found that I lost some of my app data. :(
Nothing serious, but I lost my Touch Racing 2 data, where I was 1 part away from finishing the game.

Anyway, anyone have any suggestions for getting LTE working? I have service...I can receive texts, can't send with stock app. Can make calls. Still says no SIM card. Found the camera is not working correctly...tried to take a picture and it went all garbled and crashed. I use a third party camera app anyway, so no biggie. It also doesn't seem to want to sleep, although it is plugged into the computer, so that may be keeping it awake.

Can't install my camera from Amazon Appstore either for some reason. :/

i had the same problem as you, just use this cwm reovery and it should flash (i couldn't find the page on XDA where i got it from so i'll mirror it for now

i had actually flashed mine from the odexed zv5 stock rom so that isn't the problem
