Root CM12.1 Unofficial Beta

Can someone with a working camera show us that's its working? And just to clarify, I'm not having any of the reboot problems.
Mine is working... why would we lie about that?
You can't tell which camera Camu is using from the screenshot, but here it is working fine:

A little blurry but that's just because I'm trying to hold Volume Down + Power to take the screenshot.
Here it is working with the stock camera:

By the way all those magazines... $20 for a year subscription. Some inmate deal.

Im taking video still broke?
No, video is not broken. Video works, at least in Camu. Does not work with the stock camera, for me anyway. However, I think I saw someone say on here that stock video worked for them.
But yes, video works for me if I use Camu. I can't upload a video on here, the file extension isn't allowed on here.

I didn't say you guys lied lol, I just wanted to see it My back camera doesn't work and I really want it to now, is there anything that you do that might differentiate from the normal restore flash and reboot?

Try wiping everything except your external partition on your sd card. If you don't have an external partition, then go into TWRP and mount the card as a usb drive and copy everything from your sd card to your computer, wipe the card, place the zip files back on the empty card, then unmount, flash the ROM, then flash the APN fix zip, then flash gapps. That's what I'd do.
Make a backup before all that if you want. Probably a good idea.

I've tried mounting the SD card in TWRP and it doesn't work. I just attributed it to the MTP bug. Is there anything that can be done to make it work in TWRP?

Haven't yet flashed the newest version yet (haven't had time yet), but will report back anything I find as well. Bad_MOFO_33, did you find what was causing the sleep problem? Just curious. :)

I believe it had something to do with the I/O Scheduler being set to DEADLINE. Its now set to CFQ by default. I remember when this problem showed up I was playing around with the I/O schedulers and NOOP and CFQ delayed the deep sleep by a long shot, so maybe he did some tweaking to CFQ to fix it. Cheers!

I've tried this but it still does not work.

Ill wait to flash this new build.
I'm running perfectly on the march 19 build. Only installed gapps and APN change. No deep sleep,Google camera works and I have 4g...no special, specific, secret install method....just twrp all of it. VIOLA!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Thanks MOFO
BTW....been running it since the 19th...

lucky duck...

With all these issues we're having, I'm almost convinced some phones have different hardware inside or at the very least different revisions of it. Is there a command in Android similar to the lshw command in Linux? If we could compare the internals of our phones to each other, we may have a better understanding of how to fix what's not working in this rom.

Dirty flashed new build and all seems to be working as before, except I lost vibration.
Stock cam works front and back but won't store video.
Lte still works great for me.
I did get aosp keyboard fc but reflash gapps took care of that

Ah I was wondering if the I/O scheduler had something to do with it, I had attempted to play around but got marginal experience from "Could go 4-5 hours" to "Only 10 minutes" before deep sleep. This is actually my BF's phone, I gave it to him when my G2 was reactivated, but I absolutely loved the phone so here I am, following development of it :)

Either way, Glad to see that this phone has some awesome ROMs up and coming. It's not often that I see a Boost/VM phone with such a huge following. Can't wait to flash the latest build to his phone, I'll give feedback as I can. ^_^

Just installed...is GPS known to be working? It seems to not be for me. GPS Test says 'No GPS'. It normally just says 'No fix'. Did I miss a step in installing?

Working here I think just opened Google maps without WiFi on. And pinpointed me
