Root CM12.1 Unofficial Beta

As expected, ADB now works and performance seems to be much better, although LTE sometimes fails to connect at bootup unless I toggle eHRPD

Is there any way to get dialer codes working? I know they're rom specific but I just wanna activate this phone without having to reflash the stock rom
EDIT: Nevermind, just reflashed stock rom and did it then restored

Shouldn't I be able to flash and still maintain my apps and data? I tried a dirty flash, then clean flash and restoring data, but it resulted in an endless boot (not loop, just slow moving boot animation for way too long).

I'm sure there's something I'm doing wrong and I did try googling updating CM... lol, but it's not working like I had read. Suggestions?
I dirty flashed it, didn't have any problems. did you wipe cache and dalvik cache?

Anybody else having trouble randomly losing WiFi on this ROM???
Edit: I think it may have something to do with adaway editing the hosts file...

LTE/4G/3G/DATA Connection not working at all I applied APN fix please help I need my phone for school tmrw

EDIT: To get LTE to work you need to
1.Enter the dialer code/call *#*#4636#*#*
2. Go into phone information
3. Right above the "TURN OFF RADIO" change it from "CDMA only" to "LTE/CDMA auto (PRL)" and you will now having working LTE
4. After completing the process DO NOT go into "Mobile Networks" in settings and change the "Preferred network type" OR ELSE your data will stop working, IF YOU DID THIS change it back to LTE and restart your phone and it should be working again.

*I'LL PROVIDE PHOTOS IF NEEDED JUST REPLY AND ASK*

Why are "APN not for this user"? Im on lasted build clean flash with APN fix AND apn conf (only changed APN conf file cause flash didn't work)

So far with the latest build, clean flash, I see a noticeable increase in responsiveness throughout. Also, the WiFi to mobile data (LTE) handoff seems to be a non issue anymore. For some reason, coverage is hit and miss. Haven't tried updating PRL yet (if that's possible). Only downside I see is total loss of video playback in most apps such as Snapchat, and the usual inability to record video.

Ok so, I went through the installation methods (used ClockWorkMod instead of TWRP though), and it's giving me this error-

This package is for devices: x5, ls740. This device is lg_ls740v3.
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-12.1-20150628-UNOFFICIAL-x5.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

What do I do to not get this error? It's a first gen Volt (bought it in June 2014) that's never had a ROM flashed before, all I have on it is some tweaks from Xposed so I'm not sure why it's giving me this error nor why there's a v3 in the device name. Any help is appreciated, as it stands the stock ROM has gotten unbearably slow, and I'm screwed if my backup doesn't restore.

You should update your recovery to the latest twrp. Looks like you may be using an older cwm recovery.

Idk if this has been mentioned before but I found a somewhat stupid sorta-fix for (Boost) lte.
Download the changepn app (or just do it in setting, but that takes longer), Turn off wifi, select your apn, then go to edit it (but don't change anything), then back out of the edit menu and the lte symbol should show up (it works for me every time, just do it every time you enable wifi again)
I'm not sure if this will work for everyone but it's worth a shot.

Can anyone get NFC to work? The option looks like it's turned off normally in my settings, but when I tap it, the option is greyed out.

Edit: I see now that it might have been causing some issues with connectivity/battery for people (on about page 49 of the thread). Is it disabled by default? If I already use the device off of mobile networks, is there a way to re-enable it?

No, it's due to the unofficial CM12 build. This happens on many ROMs. Ex: CM11 for the LG F3.

I've had luck though, if I'm outside and point the lens in different directions it will fix the color. I took one inside under florescent lights that looked great but later went back to green before I got a 2nd pic.

Another "fix' is to edit the picture in the Gallery and adjust the Hue. Slide it to the right, somewhere between +35 and +115 looks more normal.

Edit: it's clear to me that the automatic environment lighting detection is FUBAR.
Camera (PICTURES) work 100% fine not the sharpest but doesn't have green
Its VIDEO that the issue comes, it doesnt save the recording.

Uggghhhhhhh big problem guys! Can't record video! If I use the default camera app, video recording just doesn't save [1080p, there's no option for 4k] and on Snapchat, video recording turns into a picture, there's no poll here for my phone[LG Volt-Boost Mobile] please help meeee?!?!?

One thing I have to mention when clearing all apps after you hold down the home button to view recent apps list, the device pops up "System UI has stopped working" and then it reloads the whole launcher.

Note: This only happens a couple of times.

Edit: I also noticed some charging problem where sometimes the device resets/freezes after unplugging the device from a charger.
