Root CM12.1 Unofficial Beta

Hello! I'm running cm-12.1-20150919 on my LG Volt ok, but having difficulty upgrading to cm-12.1-20151212 through TWRP; keeps "optimizing apps," doesn't finish, then restarts and does it all over again. Is there a definitive upgrade path from 0919 to 1212?

Try wiping your cache and Dalvik cache.

What could be different about my phone i dont have the green tint issue, all i know really is that i got it from TextNow With TWRP already running on it and there own weird software version originally. I can tell you that the TWRP installed already is a older version and so could that have an effect on the camera?

Maybe....... I'm not taking any chances, SO...... Ph0enix_216 should do it. He's the professional, hehe

So in recovery after backing up it's wipe caches, install new CM, install Virgin Mobile APN fix again, boot? Or is it install new CM, install Virgin Mobile APN fix again, wipe caches, boot?
1.),Backup stock ROM
2.) Wipe system, cache, dalvik, and data
3.) Install CyangornMod zip

If you get stuck in another bootloop, reboot into recovery and wipe the cache and dalvik cache, and reboot Intl the system.

odd that a carrier would be using twrp but wouldn't be illogical if they did. sounds like textnow may be a small start-up and by using development community software they can save a dollar. anyway you should be just fine updating your twrp version using flashify. as for it causing a camera issue. that is highly unlikely.

I believe the greenish rear camera is the result of low light. It seems the rear camera can't detect adjust the brightness by itself, and always work under low light condition, like a night vision goggle

Dang so I decided to do a clean wipe on my phone and get the updated version and now I cant get it to boot past the lg Logo..I also tried using the older one i used before that posted on the forum but still not happening :/ ill try other roms and see what happens... i hope it hasn't died ;-;(
(update: i got it to boot after wiping again and flashing
ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod but the main lg loader shows some wacky colors now trying to boot into the new version cm now hope it works :D)
(Update 2: Won't boot past starting apps part it just reboots to the cm12 logo will try using the older version again :/ )
(update 3: xD Finally got the old version to start ;-; I'm assuming the new version isnt operational :( )

Still bootloop. Restored 0919 for now until I can figure out what I'm doing wrong, since I've tried "wipe cache+dalvik, install 1212, install VMU fix, wipe cache+dalvik again" AND "wipe ALL, install 1212, install GApps, install VMU fix" and no dice

Only thing I can think of is that your download for corrupted. Try re-downloading the ROM zip file and see what happens.

Are you asking if LTE works? Yes, it does work, but you have to flash the APN fix attached to the OP. Also, from time to time, you may have to go into Settings -> Wireless & networks -> More -> Access Point Names to re-toggle LTE. It doesn't always stick in Lollipop ROMs for some reasons.
Do I have to flash cm12, APN VM fix, and gapps in a certain order or way?

I think something is wrong with the download. I tried and downloaded twice the 12/12 update and get the same results. Bootloop. Try bliss pop
