Root CM12.1 UNOFFICIAL RC5

my data finally works but I have occasional moments where my screen doesn't respond where I gotta restart my phone. after turning off features it looks like it was either smartlock with my pebble watch, poweramp, Bluetooth, or a combination.
 
Ok so I just restored my stock back Hroark, I restored my CM 12.1 beta 1 backup and flashed the RIL and all that it did was display att instead of Cricket, then I wiped, reflashed CM 12.1beta 1 rebooted, recovery and flashed the RIL once more and the same thing, still no data.

That's your problem don't flash the ril zip. It works fine with out it. I have zero problems with data. I did a clean install the only zip I flashed was for the sensors as the data is fully working in the beta

Have you tried a different theme. I installed a different theme from play store and my phone have stopped freezeing up like it was.

i tested this zip (the first one) and it killed my data. restored a previous CM12 nandroid and its good again.

also, data is working very well for me unless i am streaming from youtube (havent tested other streaming apps). i can start any video on youtube and it will play for about 10 seconds and then it stops, showing "connection problem: touch to retry". when i press play again it will play the video/song all the way through. this happens 99% of the time i start a video. it always plays the second time around.

i think i should emphasize for everyone here that the issue is with INCOMING calls only. outgoing calls present me with no problems. the screen does not turn on with incoming calls, but outgoing calls are fine. i think there is some confusion about this.
 
I have that YouTube bug also, and the Netflix app won't even load. The loading circle just keeps spinning. Btw, anyone know any calibration apps that work? Tried like 3 and my screen still loses touch capabilities about twice a day
 
This isn't a problem due to CM12, but due to Lollipop itself:

On Kit Kat, when connecting to my WiFi from my room, I never got an Authentication Failure until I flashed this. I know it's an issue with the Android version, though, because the same thing happens on my Galaxy S4 with Lollipop. Any chance you know how I can manually go about fixing this?

i have this same problem. i use hangouts for sms/mms and it works perfectly

It might have something to do with the GAPPs file you're flashing. The first time around, that happened to me too. But after I restored and used a different gapps, it went away. Don't know if that was the sole factor though.

any chance you remember which gapps worked best for you? if i could get this youtube issue resolved this would be my daily driver...
 
Cm12 in full effect.... Data is behaving...
Dialer is crashy when not used for a while...
Luckily... Not when I need it!!
Rocking Rebel Droid theme... Awesome!
One issue.. But, it's minor.. Because it has to do with the launcher I use...
So.. Adaptation ....
