Root Cm6 does not work with unrevoked.

In my particular case i didnt have any luck flashing it over UNREVOKED,Fresh 1.0.1 flashed with no problem but this particular ROM kept on giving me an error over an over so I decided to root with Simple Root(3 step one)and it went thru.I'ts been runing on my phone since yesterday flawlesly and is still a beta,no glitches at all other than get a voicemail notification even if i dont have one but that does not bother me at all.

I had the SAME problem today so I'm currently doing the simpleroot process as well. Over at XDA they told me I need full NAND unlock and apparently unrevoked doesn't give you that. I could flash other roms as you said but CM6 gave me an error every time I'd try to flash it.

^^^^^^^yup thats what it is,apparently NAND is not fully unlocked.Have fun after u flash it,it works like a charm,make sure u flash the newer radio too.

Dont forget to flash gapps with CM6

gapps u should have flashed right after u flashed CM from the sd/card.And the radio,download the .zip on ur PC put it on sd/card,go into recovery mode,install zip from sd/card,look for the file name it should read something like this EVO.2.xxxx,reboot now and all done.Gapps is done the same way.

Well I'm having issues with the SimpleRoot, I can get to Step 3 but then nothing happens after I go to the website for the Flash Hack. Just keeps telling me to refresh the page but nothing happens after I do. Grrrr

[Program] SimpleRoot .1 ---- 3 Click Root w/ nand unlock!! - xda-developers try this is a lot easier make sure u download HTC SYNC and Framework4 the links to that are there too.It should be like a 20 min root and u r good to go.

I'm pretty sure that one isn't going to work for me as I applied the OTA update. I believe this method only works for people that didn't apply the update.

it worked for me and I did OTA update so I dont c why is not gonna work for you.Give it a shot.

Yeah that's pretty much the only way I can get internet access in my house. 3g coverage is spotty so I've always been browsing out to those sites with wifi.

Do you mean start from scratch as is load the stock rom and start from there, or just start over the Simpleroot program. Cause I've done the Simpleroot at least 3 or 4 times from the beginning, as well as manually trying to unlock NAND and I have the same problem. It's at the point of the flash hack, nothing seems to happen when I go through that step. Is there another way to unlock NAND without doing the flash hack? Wishing I never did the OTA update...

Yes, I can confirm that CM is working and I flashed it at the end of Toasts Part 2 method. Playing with it now.

Step 2 of toasts method tells you to go into shell on your pc. How do i go into shell and what do i type after that?

Thats not going to work. I dont have nand unlocked. I used unrevoked 3 which didnt unlock my nand. I have tried tons of different ways but nothing works!
