Root CM6 not sending MMS

I recently flashed CM 6.1.0 and all was hunky dory until I tried sending MMS. I can't send nor receive MMS. Any recommendations? Or should I just flash CM7?

I would probably just flash CM7 as it's got a lot of support (giant thread over at xda) and I know for a fact MMS works because I switch between it and Incredibly Re-Engineered frequently. Hope this helps
