Root Cm7 1.1

I think you should try out Tiamat 1.1.3

On my second day of use (with 90% standby) I've seen only a drop of 18% in 7hrs. THAT'S CRAZY!!!!! I've never seen anything like this before. Because of this, I'm gonna wait a few more days before flashing CM7 1.8, barring any glaring unfixable bugs that might pop up by then.

NOTE: I've been on the new Radio since Saturday. And the Tiamat kernel is the version included with the BlackSourc3 Rom.

Do you wipe battery stats and all before you flash the kernel? Otherwise I would think that may be a reporting error. Hope it isn't however ;)

Actually, I accidentally did a full wipe of everything (never hold a baby while you try to do things in recovery). So I basically started anew with BlackSourc3.

Also, I'm -25 UV and OC to 1.2GHZ with SmartAssV2.
 
I wish I could tell you what is in it, but I havent figured that out yet. If you don't wipe it then it can mess up your readings and not give accurate results.

Did you undervolt with vipermod or left it as blacksource stock?

Edit : nevermind saw you undervolted. 25 and oc 1.2 if that's correct :-)
 
Hi,
Is the audio problem with the speaker still an issue? If you changed to speaker mode right after you dial the person cannot hear you.

I see that IMO 3.8.0 is up the the website..It has smartassV2 added also which is a plus..might flash this and 1.8 tonight and see how it is.. I really don't want to leave 3.5.8 though :/

I haven't heard back from him yet. I did speak to him about his kernels before he found a fix for the splash hang. Long story short he's waiting for a replacement TB through his company. For some reason, though he might not be getting one. When I asked him if he'd still develop if he didn't get a replacement the response was no. So let's hope his replacement issue (whatever that may be) gets worked out. Otherwise, we will be SOL.

I hope he gets one, otherwise half the kernels for the bolt are finished.
 
No problem. I agree that when Sense and AOSP stuff is named the same but there really isn't much we can do about it, even devs that normally don't name things the same will every once in a while have a Sense and AOSP thing with the same name
 
woo hoo! back to cm7... been awhile since ive been onthe original :eek: i like the new lock screen. ive had good luck with slayhers kernels,so i havent bothered to change it.

FYI for anyone else who like burnt ao5p... the original burn pack will cause a bootloop. it could prolly be modified without much prollem to work tho,as the theme chooser version flashed fine and worked. if you get tired of the transparent apps youll have to wipe caches and reflash cm7 to get rid of them.

So what's the verdict on 1.8 with Imo 3.7.1? You guys good with it? Seeing some reports of data drops but not across the board. I know everyone's gone flash crazy with all the new stuff out now so I'm just curious what is working out best and worst for folks. We can leave Sense out of this since we all know what happens there.
