Root CM7 back to CM6 Question

Yeah but I would flash an ultra stable Rom like virtuous or something bare bones 2.2 instead. Jmo.
So you need 2.2 or sense? Cm6 isn't sense. I thought you would need sense.
I honestly have no idea. I was under the impression that every 2.2 rom would have "People". I need to load the People data with Titanium to get my contacts back.
Finally got it.
Had to reboot. WOOT!
For anyone that has this issue in the future. I had to restore [Contacts/Calls] Contacts storage 2.2, and then had to reboot phone to see old contacts.
I think I'm going to go with a different rom than CM7 though, battery issues are just too much.

I was just about to post WTF, Virtuous is the quintessential stock Rom lol. Glad you got it.

If you saved all your contacts to gmail, this really shouldn't be a problem.. I mean, I understand that CM7 doesn't have the people app or what not, but at least you could just look in your gmail for the number.
Yeah my problem was I hadn't been saving my phone contacts to gmail. Now I do, so I won't have this issue again.
