Root Cm7 battery life

Ive been running t his for a good two weeks now.. but im charging my battery everynight........yes im on facbook every 10 mins and ebay, and twitter. but come on..

also when i go into apps, and running apps, there are a few things running that i dont need... i stop them.... then after a few seconds they re-apear again?

apart from that im impressed with cm7

Good to hear that you're enjoying CM7... it's my preferred ROM to be honest... keep going back to it after trying others!

You are usually best not stopping any "running apps", as Android can handle stuff like that itself. There's a full explination on it at the start of this thread.

The thread actually talks about not using task killers, but that's the same as going in and killing apps the way you have described.

Using ARHD at the moment but have used CM 7 in the past, while the battery life is a lot better that post rooted i find that regardless of which ROM i have used, if i use my phone the way it was meant to be used, twitter, FB,email, texting, calling etc the battery life is not great, but i think the biggest single drainer is the phone switching between 2G and 3G, its not a problem though, if i'm out all day i just slip this into my jacket pocket its brilliant
