if you have Cm7 please tell me if your camcorder works. simply open your camera, set it to video and capture a short vid.

if it works please post so here if not post so here.

thank you very much.

When I switch my camera to Video it shows a black screen where it should be showing me the video I'm recording. It then says force close or wait. If you select wait it will show me the video screen but it beeps when I press the record button.

ok tyvm all.

i was getting reports of it working (i knew it didn't) and just wanted to make sure mine wasn't a fluke.

even on my stock 2.1 ascend barcodes sucked to scan. i had to actual enlarge the picture if it was on my pc etc. the camera just isnt capable of picking up the small QR codes.

and the metro site listed the ascend as having auto focus (still hoping for 2.2? with this lie on their main site? good luck)

not tried it on the latest build. N yes even on the stock 2.1 mine wouldnt scan upc codes at all only qr codes in the right light or if on pc with the phone almost touching the scan. Its a crappy camera period, takes horrible pix.
