Root CM7 Email and Titanium problems

I have installed CM7. Got all the Google apps installed etc and now have a couple of problems.

When trying to input email settings I get "Unable to open connection to server"

I have tried both pop and exchange and get the same error.


Secondly, Titanium backup will no longer work. Claiming I am not rooted.

any ideas?

with titanium backup click the problems button and it should fix your issues
as for the email settings. does market and everything else work?

make sure your apn settings are correct

Make sure you have a good signal, (obviously).

Titanium Backup may need a reboot, after you've booted go to your SU app and check that its allowing SU permissions.

both problems fixed!

i rebooted, reinstalled Titanium and both that and the emails now work.
