Root CM7 for Samsung Transform Ultra(FOR DEVELOPERS AND TESTERS ONLY)

this was badsectors thread so has/had copy, im sure others do. CM7 stopped on this phone cuz of all the bricked phones we have no cyngamod for ultra. So with that being said if you do obtain a copy and install you will brick it.

It doesn't download for me. Not that I want it, but I tried the link & it takes you to the minus page, but it won't download.

**I have the files needed but I don't want anybody to risk Bricking their phone on account of me, so I'm sorry but I'm not uploading them. If you want them your going to have to ask bads3ctor or maybe Mav since he was the last one still working on it.** Sorry!
 
it's my understanding that the files that they had posted will not brick your phone however nothing really works but you can boot from it
 
Ro works just fine, only thing that needs to be fixed... is the wifi and the camera apk. Other than that it works just fine... any help?
 
The camera fix --- might want to download CameraICS from the market. It just might fix it.
The wifi fix --- there is an app called Wifi Fixer on the market... Maybe, maybe not.

Wait... are you saying that the rom fully works for everything OTHER than Wifi and the camera? That's somewhat significant... granted, a lack of wifi is a big problem, but...

I could be wrong, since I'm working from months-old memory (so take what I say with a grain of salt), but as far as I understand it, this most recent version of CM works in that it boots up, no FCs, and you can mess around with the phone, but it's still an alpha/(pre-)beta build because more than just the wifi and camera aren't working...those just happen to be the most noticeable. If I recall correctly, just about any signal sent or received by the phone isn't working in this build; 2G/3G data, for sure. And if nite's suggestions don't at least help the problem, then that says to me that the ROM isn't even communicating to the hardware, if it's even aware of what's available.
 
The links don t work... plus minus doesn't let anyone to download anything use mediafire or 4shared or something but please upload it again.. I'm working a cm based rom as well... could I possibly join in? :p

development has long stopped on this rom
 
Hey Guys! Cmtoontown here, I can't download the rom nor the kernal beause of stupid minus saying its not there... is there anyway one of you can fix the link and send it to me at cmtoontown@gmail.com I'm happy to start the rom back up for fellow CM Rom users.. I had it on my Prevail.. I just need the rom and ill fix as much as I can..
