Root CM7 - Gmail update and Adobe flash

Hello - I'm coming up on my 1 year root anniversary! I've been running CMx as my daily since rooting. Two Questions:

Market says that I have a Gmail update, when I try to update, I get an error that says "package file was not signed correctly". Is this an AOSP or CM7.1.0 issue? Would flashing the newest GAPPs fix this?

Adobe Flash - About two days ago, web videos say that I need to update my adobe flash player. I have the Adobe flash player 11. I uninstalled, reinstalled through the market, and still have the same issue. I've wiped cache and Dalvic Cache. Thoughts?

I've been on CM7.1.0 since it came out and both of the issues above didn't begin until recently, so I don't think it's a bad file that I flashed.

Thank you to everyone that make this the best forum on the planet!

Go to manage applications and then go to the market app. Clear data and clear cache. Then reboot the phone. Sign back into the market and see if you can update gmail.

I just cleared both, rebooted, and signed back in, but I'm still getting the same error message.

use titanium backup and get the pro key so that you can unlock the market doctor feature. this will be able to link your apps back to the market and you should be able to update your apps afterwards.

I always choose the pay version for the root apps to thank the developers for their awesome work. Tried the market doctor and rebooted no luck. I'm still getting the same error!
