Root CM7 ICS Lock Screen

So CM7 by default offers the ICS Lock screen in 7.2 We just need to enable it is all

Settings > Cyanogenmod > Lockscreen > Style Options > Lockscreen style > Ring

No go to Ring-Lock Style > Holo Style

Scroll down a bit and check mark Minimal Ring Style (so it list one ring)

Tada now you have an ICS lock screen on CM7 and you don't need to install any bloat

Cool. Now if we could just get the various widgets to open on there like camera etc.

You can configure the custom app but you will have 3 rings but they will be the ICS theme. Doesn't look to bad

I wish that we could implement lock scree ntheming in the T-Mobile theme engine. It should be possible, we would just have to add it in ourselves!

What's cool is that I'm trying to build Gummy, an AOSP ICS based ROM, and it has the ring lock feature in it as well.

You also need it on the minimal setting to get it in the center. But cool and thanks.

... And if you set your lockscreen up like this, you can use my mod to make the minimalistic holo lockring invisible, and glow with one of several colors, if you want.
