Root cm7 missing dialer

hey Brother. can you help me out with the tiamat kernel you recommended? im not notciing any battery gain . my batt life sucks. I have updates adjust and wifi off and no live wallpaper, the usual battery saving tips. I want to underclock when my screen is off but i read using setcpu to do so may intefere with either cm7 or tiamat. how do you have your rig setup for your batt gains?

i'm currently using tiamat 4.0.1 sbc but will soon be flashing 4.0.2 soon though. i haven't used setcpu since i switched to aosp. i use the smartass govenor. that is about it. just remember though, not all phones are alike and thus not all kernels behave the same way. what works for me may not work for you. i have spent many hours trying to find that perfect rom/kernel combo that works for me. i have stopped looking for the most part because cm7 and tiamat has given me the best battery life. but, i'm a flashoholic so i will still be flashing away but i mostly will always go back to my cm7 nandroid.

holly molly.. did i find another that this tiamate kernel does not work well with.. thank god I thought I was all by my self

i want to try another kernel to try to get better battery life but have no clue which one to try. is it even worth it? any suggestions?

now that im on tiamat. how do i flash stock kernel? do i need to wipe cache/delvik then flash the file? if so where do i get the stock kernel? i want to try to under clock it with screen off and see how that setup works .. thx

most of the kernels that are for aosp is found on ref#2 in my sig. try savage or savaged zen kernels. also if you really want stock i would download the kernel manager and i believe the cyanogen mod kernel is there. i could be wrong but i have not used that app. i just read it somewhere. but be sure just to download it only and flash it manually.
