Root CM7 Nightlies

just use wireless theater it works and the when the built in notification shows up on your phones that means it is connected and transmitting the other icon is just showing theater is running this was talked about in the xda thread in the 150-160 pages if i am not mistaken
 
If you use a certain amount of data, Verizon will sloe your data consumption rate down. Like going from 3g to 1X essentially.

Just to clarify, they will only do this after 5GB of usage, and only if you're congesting a node. Even then, it hasn't been used much in practice by Verizon. They're putting out alerts now that they will likely start doing this going forward.

Are you and ChiTownJim using the latest version of the Facebook app? It seems pretty much full-featured to me and seems to work well.

Most of the time though, I peruse my main Facebook page with the LauncherPro Plus Facebook widget. It works great and looks awesome. Great for quick status updates and to see what everyone else is up to. If I need to look someone up or get into messages or whatever I launch the app right from the LauncherPro FB widget.
 
Flashed 31 last night (and 30 and 29 before it).

I am finding these issues, and after wiping very THOROUGHLY, I'm confident these issues are with CM:

1. Way too much time time taken to boot up SD Card. Scans for errors and takes a minute or more to finish.

2. LauncherPro now ForceCloses after boot-up, after which it is fine.

3. After connecting my Bluetooth, the defualt bluetooth volume is always set to minimum and it requires turning it up manually.

4. In the default browser, web pages don't scroll down completely... portrait mode is not so bad, but landscape mode will not scroll at all.

5. Not really an issue I guess, but 31 seems to be slower again... Quadrant benchmarks are consistently between 1100 - 1400 fully maxed out in Performance mode.

I feel like I'm being nit-picky, but if these issues could be addressed without creating new issues, this would otherwise be a perfect ROM!

I'm experiencing the same thing with 1, 2, and 5.
In addition to #1, it takes for. ev. er to pull up gallery now, as well as skipping to the next song when playing music. It seems like after build 22, all of these became more prevalent.
 
I'm still having trouble sending and receiving MMS messages. I can receive them fine, but I can't seem to download or view the attachments. Anyone else experiencing this?

I've used builds 12, 14, 15, 20, and 23 (playing with other ROMs right now). In all builds I noticed that when mounted to the PC, writing to the internal storage or SD card caps at about 1MBps, whereas on a Sense ROM, I get about 3MBps on the internal storage, and 7-10MBps on my SD card. Cyanogen, for some reason or another, is SLOW with using external media.

1) yes CM has been slow i guess it is something we will have to live with

2) i don't use launcher pro (i personally hate it)

3) haven't had that problem at all

4) i have that problem but i just DL'ed Dolphin HD and its all good now even faster too

5) try using the new Sayher beta kernel and you will see a world of difference (at least i do)

Question: i know the procedure for flashing kernels is different than it is for the Incredible. Is there a certain way to load them for this phone? For the OG Droid, all you had to do was just load it up and run it in CWR.

Pretty much the same thing. Make a backup, wipe dalvik and flash like a rom.

Re: #1, how many apps do you have installed to the SD card? If it's more than a handful, do you notice any difference in speed if you move them back to phone storage? I've found that SD card mounting is significantly faster if there are no apps installed to it.

I do have the most updated version and it really has come a long way from using it with the Eris and Droid . But it's still missing a lot of key features
-Uploading Video
-Tagging Photos
-Viewing the "Photos of You"
-The lack of EVENT features ie. you can't view a event wall or modify events

Really I don't care all that much but it would be nice if it had full features . As I was writing that list I felt like I was nit picking haha
